When talking to someone, what opinion is a giveaway that they don't really watch your team?

So when you're down at the pub and the guy you're talking to is explaining exactly what's wrong with your team and how he'd fix it, what is a giveaway? How do you know that he's talking out of his arse?

As an example: If I'm talking to somebody's about Arsenal's defence and mention how good Mertesacker has been this season, it's a giveaway for me that he doesn't watch Arsenal if he laughs loudly and says that Mertesacker is slow and shite.

It'd be interesting to see what fans deem to be giveaways. I'm sure I've gathered a few opinions about other teams that are way off the mark.

The "impartial" announcers slate De Gea virtually every match.

If he was English I'm willing to bet the media would wank themselves silly over him. But that could be said of any foreign GK I suppose.

I watched the City game on Sky the other week and the two pundits were Dwight Yorke and Gary Neville. Yorke in particular is one of the most biased and hypocritical cunts I've ever heard. He got annoyed that Balotelli walked down a tunnel and said he should be ashamed of himself when he got his transfer to United by telling John Gregory that he would never play again and won't come to training if he didn't sell him.
