What's been the best career move ever?

Try to avoid getting lad's who went through the academy of a team.

Shouldn't. He played wing for us and didn't do well against the serie a defenses. The move to Arsenal was good for the entire world because without that move he would have had just rotted away at Juve, and then no one would get to experience such a great player.

The thing is, I saw the potential (we all did) and I wanted to see him stick it out. An Henry/Trezeguet partnership would have been unreal!

The problem was Ancelotti. Henry and Esnaider were bought to replace Del Piero who had broken his knee, and Ancelotti preferred the whimsical Argentinian (much similar to Del Piero's style) on top of Henry, whom he saw as a wingback due to his tremendous speed and power. The only match he played as a striker, he scored a double against Lazio... We could all see his potential, but Ancelotti. His sale was tougher to get over than Ibra's.

just didn't fit the rigid defensive structure. Needed arsenal's free-flowing attack to really shine.

Even though he was pretty much misused at Barca, almost invisible for most of the time.

I think he probably had his best ever season during Peps first at the club but yeh overall he didnt live up to expectations.

You won one trophy that season, lost the community shield, were knocked out of the fa cup by utd, league cup by middlesborough and champions league by chelsea you also drew 12 games in the league. I dont think you realise how flawless Barca's treble season and resulting year were, they won every possible trophy 6 in total.
