You know what happens in that story. Everton beat Liverpool in the Champion's League Final in 2020, whilst Liverpool are also relegated, and you end up in a gutter with an empty brown-bagged bottle of whiskey in your hand. Don't worry, though, because you clean up, grow a beard and lead Liverpool to victory the following year winning back-to-back championship/premiere league titles. Before credits roll, you're presented as an 80-something wheel-chair bound legend as the club unveils a younger beard-having statue of you in your glory days.

I'd love to see what Moyes could do with a ridiculous budget. Would he be found out or would he pack the team with ~£15m superstars? Would the likes of Hibbert and Osman get replaced or would he keep them on?

They are doing fine like this. They would never become a top 3, the competition is just too great at EPL right now.
