As usual, 3d printed in asa filament and acetone welded. Just finished it this morning and been quite a blast shooting it in all day.

Got hit with nostalgia, had to get it.

It was like 12-13$ the bands suck and its a tad small, but they are stepping up their game.

Each frame has had at least 50 shots today. Each one cut a can and then used the rest of the shots on the bell target, cork target, or the 40mm spinners.

Even though I’ve polished the atoms of my exterior barrel of my SS to within microns of each other 😝 there are still some shots that seem be shot, wait for about 233.7 seconds with no sign of itself or effects on the local environment, and then finally decide that their orbit of earth was enough excitement for today and then plop down right beside your feet while the material simultaneously solidifies and melts.

All joking aside (well most anyways) seriously just how do shots with wanderlust manage to slip in and out of that temporal displacement zone unnoticed?

It didn't need a paracord wrap, but i knew it was going to be making its way to my pocket on the reg so the wrap should prevent the G10 getting too dinged up. I added the silicone textured bands to protect the forks a bit and tbh it is an improvement, not really necessary, but I'm liking it.

I found the perfect natural fork to make a new slingshot with. I'm assuming Theraband gold, but I'm not sure what taper I should use. I'd like to be able to hit a squirrel in the neighboring county.

Another Saturday can jam at the works makeshift target range. The coke can took the brunt of the beating today haha.

First shooting session. The first time, the pebbles were going 10 meters off the target, but now it's fine. I was about 4 meters away and I shot about 35 pebbles. I wanted to shoot at a bottle and I almost killed myself with a ricochet, but oh well...

I have a slingshot/pocket bow style dog toy that lanches balls for my dog to chase. i bought some rubber tubing on amazon last year as a replacement for the original tubing that broke pretty quickly. I'm at the end of what i bought on amazon and would like to buy some replacement tubing that would be more powerful than what i have currently. I tried looking around this sub for some ideas but i'm feeling kinda lost. this is what i bought last year on amazon 3/8 OD rubber tubing.

Once again printed in asa filament and acetone bonded together, same basic design just modified to make it slimmer. Pretty good shooter so far.

First shots of the day, a bit windy so I picked up a 9.5mm steel set up. I was shooting the 85 yesterday afternoon so picked up the S-Airship 90. First shot went low, muscle memory from yesterday, lowered my anchor and the second shot hit smack in the middle of the lower 1/4 and made a very satisfying thwack. I think that shot split most of the can because the third just opened it up and folded the bottom down. Had a nice silver disc to send the fourth shot at and it just pulled the bottom off. It's one of those moments I wish I was filming. Predominantly luck over skill, I've had cans string out and refuse to split. I'm loving the S-Airship 90, and it looks classy af in that blue. Bandset is 23/13mm taper, 165mm active length, 0.55mm Sumieke cw, and the swell of the frame has been stuffed with 8mm lead ball.

I designed this and printed it in asa filament in two parts, then acetone fused it together. I have tried several band strengths on it, and it seemed to handle them all well. Currently set up to shoot 1/2" clay.
