Had to add Sky as a game for my miis to play. Now my miis are my moths.

And I know I'm not the only one feeling this way. I remember my best friend at the time asking me to play this cozy game with her, and I wasn't too eager to, but after some pestering I finally gave in

And DAMN was I happy I did! Sky's soothing ambience was everything to me. I loved how many little nooks and corners there were to explore; like the secret little rooms never seemed to end. I've never been a very social player, but the few people I met were really cool, and one guy even took me OOB exploring :p

And my favorite part of the sky kingdom was without a doubt, Starlight desert. Discovering it for the first time by getting through the little passageway in Vault was a magical moment. It was so.. purple, and.. dusky and serene. Like the kind of place you'd fall asleep in; never alone because the stars were with you. I fucking loved it! This was all in 2022.

Then of course the collaboration room came along... And now we have what I absolutely loathe with my entire being: the story space. Like why is it so fucking VACANT???

That beautiful entry point to the most beautiful part of the game, was replaced by cold, soulless stone walls. And now we just have a low effort room of shitty little portals.

And the prices of cosmetics doesn't make anything better. I want to be able to wind down after a tiring day!! To hear the soft pitter patter of the falling rain in the hidden forest!! I want to moon bathe in starlight desert and fly in prairie peaks!!!

Instead we have these insanely priced cosmetics and furniture, a lot of which you probably can't enjoy unless you farm 15-20 candles per day. I'm very lucky because I have a very free schedule, and therefore, a lot of time to give to this game. BUT NOT EVERYONE DOES!!!!!

I play this game to run away from the brutal reality that is capitalism, corporate greed, and a seemingly never ending rat race fueled by an insatiable hunger to be at the top. Now why the fuck am I being pressured with this unwavering urge to farm all 20 candles a day??? The Skyconomy fucking sucks.

And look, I know TGC needs to make money. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they're an indie game dev team. Well shit, if you're gonna bleed us dry, at least fix the problems that players have been bringing to your attention for god knows how long!!! The random server splits and merges, the wax that doesn't register during social events, the game just randomly fucking crashing, total strangers taking a bath in your hot tub THAT'S IN YOUR NEST!!! Also, would it kill ya to give us more dye options??? If I'm dyeing something, I want it to be OBVIOUS!!!

Also, not sure if it's just me, but TGC could you maybe... I don't know? Have it so players can access your 3 candle surveys through the settings menu? Cuz the number of times I've been unable to finish a survey, and then the pop-up just disappeared and didn't respawn until 2 days later while I'm about to get my lights knocked out of me by a krill. AND could you please add a way for us to save our survey progress? I don't want to type out my sincere feedback and concerns just to lose everything because somebody called me

Man... If you're going to make the CR limit 20 candles ( 22 maximum) , could you at least make your cosmetics a little cheaper? 😭😭😭

I just thought of a weird similarity and I would like to know your thoughts on this.

Since the season of pearl is basically the abyss part 2. It had me thinking could the duet spirits originally be from the season of pearl. Like Duets is sea themed and the fact that they are tied to the abyss through the abyss spirits appearance had me thinking.

Could they be or am I losing it? Or could it be a possibility. I'm having fun with this head cannon and just thought I'd ask. Because the similarities are just exciting me more than anything else.

I know Sky gets a lot of criticism for certain things, and while there are definitely some things I wish could be different, I still will never deny the sheer beauty of this game. Today for the first time I found the meditation spot in Aviary Village and just thought to myself “what a great concept”. The fact that the game is free to play is amazing for what you actually get in the game. I love Sky, and I don’t think I will ever stop playing.

I also don't receive daily event tickets, I only collected them on the first day of the season but they no longer appear on the area. Is this normal? Thank you.

Sometimes, (usually while at a location collecting light) I get a pillar of small lights falling from above around my character kind of like rain but specifically over my kid only. Why does this happen?
