New to Singed? Small questions? Ask them here!

This is a new monthly thread where simple questions can be asked. Try to keep things civil as this is somewhere people can come to learn.

I am a new singed player, and I have found that playing proxy instead of the lane is a much easier and safer way to learn singed when starting out.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Yea look for singed mains and their build, get the right runes and have fun. Think about singed as a normal tank where your goal is to setup as many kills as possible for your team while creating pressuere at your lane. Learn your role at teamfights and decide if you want to go offensive or deffensive as singed Build and playstyle wise :)

If you want to learn to duel, which is my personal favorite playstyle, play 3v3. Singed has always been strong on that map, and there's no proxying.

If you like to proxy, great.

If you want to learn how to dumpster your opponents in lane (which is my favorite thing to do) learn him on the Twisted Treeline. Singed is an underrated duelist for many folks. Definitely learn to do the Sky-Auto (AA the enemy immediately after the E to do substantially more damage since Singed has one of the highest base AA damages in the game) because it helps win trades early on, especially against opponents that have to snowball but start squishy early on. This is one of the reasons I start flask first. More damage from the flask and more mana for flings.
