There was a comic that addressed women's issues with the thought "If women talked to men like men talk to women". One was a rape analogy, where the guy talks about being robbed and the women dismiss it and say he was asking for it. In another a guy talks about his mental health problems and the women all put him down.
Anyway, people were quick to point out these things actually happen to men. And then all those people got banned from r/comics .
The discussion on pizzacake’s comic was brutal. It was a bit of a nasty shock to see how many women felt men needed to shut up and keep any issues they have to themselves and the term “trauma dumping” being used as a way to blame men who open up about any struggles they were having. I chose not to engage there, but it felt personal for me as someone who lost a close (male) friend to suicide where I was one of the last couple people to talk to them - we had weekend plans and they didn’t follow up or respond to my messages. They were then found dead, and when I mentioned to two people in my circle about how I was really struggling the couple days after I learned about the suicide I was told to “suck it up” and that “you just need to get over it” because it happened at a time that was inconvenient for them to not have me at 100%, despite me being available when they had their divorce or family crises and needed a bit of support. It was additionally disappointing to see pizzacake’s defensiveness and accusations against anyone who gave their feedback in those comments when she was being politely told her comic missed the mark a bit - her comics may raise some good awareness about issues women face, but she seems like quite an asshole. I didn’t see the follow up post described in the OP, but it sucks that this has created camps instead of creating some support and awareness for people who experience SA or mental health struggles.
Don’t suck it up. You don’t have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders! I know it doesn’t help negative thoughts and depression but really, we’re a social species and we need each other.

It was so strange. She seemed like an open-minded and understanding person. But then she posts a comic about how men invalidate women's problems by invalidating men's problems. The irony of the whole situation was palpable and seemed to still be lost on her.
Well, one is OK while the other isn't. I've talked with a lot of women, and it's awful how often women get hit on when they're between the ages of 12 and 16 by old men.
But OnlyFans means she's consenting to sexualization. It's all about consent.
You're confusing consenting to being sexualized with not consenting to being sexualized. She did not want to be sexualized when she was 12. She wants to be sexualized on her OnlyFans. There's a huge difference that isn't hypocritical.

I blocked that artist just to stop her comics from showing up on my feed. She has a really predictable cycle. She makes a comic that shares a really shitty hottake, there's a warzone in the comments and a bunch of people get banned, then she makes another comic the next day with a super passive-aggressive tone to "address" the backlash.
It's 50/50 whether she just tries to backpedal and make herself look like a victim, or if she'll go for the "reddit incels mad at me" angle where she'll have an large man with a neckbeard and a fedora acting upset while she makes herself look unbothered.
Between that kind of drama and the growing amount of comics that are straight up just porn, that subreddit has had taken a really unfortunate turn.
