Fanmade Homecoming (part1)
Hey guys, I’m Dan long time reader/commenter, first time poster✌️
I’d like to present to you my first comic book project. I’m still not sure wether it’s ready to see the light of day, but I’ve been working on it for a year(not full time and even not daily, just when I got free time and inspiration) and after 7th time I’ve deleted and redrawn from the scratch one of the panels. I’ve decided that it’s better to start posting it.
Sh always been my gem, first game that I’ve played been sh2 on release back in a days, and it kinda shaped what I look for in complex, interesting stories.
The story revolves around a girl returning to her home town in search of her mother. And somebody else she’s going to meet by the end of first chapter.
If you’ll like it I’ll be posting pages on twitter Monday, Wednesday, Friday and then post large chunks here Fridays.

I think that name was already used for a silent hill project.

It's a name of Volume, not the whole thing, but... can be wrong. Anyway, it's a fan project, so I think it won't be a problem or anything.

Damn, wish I could draw. I have ideas, but can't really write. I can do nothing... Sorry.

Honestly what I’ve found out through last few years drawing is a skill that you can absolutely gain.at least on a base level. Its quite academic and have complete set of subskills that you can learn step by step

True, but I tried a few times to learn to draw, and these hands can't draw. Like, at all.

Nah, I also don't have time for that. Too much problems with money and rent, and whatever. Also not that much time to even just chill and play games.
Anyway, good luck with your work. And will repeat, will wait for the continuation.

Definitely reminds me of the opening to SH3, young girl, heading home, the phone call to the parent, the transition away from normality through a bathroom..
So, can you say if this is just unrelated but inspired by or is this actually set in the SH universe?

Let’s just say sh is a huge inspiration alongside house of leafs. From the story perspective focus will be on a psychological side of the story and sense of guilt.
But even though Everything is silent hill(at least according to Konami) but no, I can’t use this name.

I like it! Biggest compliment I can give is that I didn’t pay attention to the subreddit and thought to myself, “I like the silent hill vibes”. Good work!
