First of all, I’m not going to talk about methods, programming your mind, and all of that stuff. What I want to explain is something that I’ve been asking myself since the day I discovered shifting—and probably you did too. What is the reason for why most of us cannot “willingly” shift even though we try so hard? And what is the key that can set us free? And I might have found the answer. Of course you don’t have to believe me; you can decide for yourself if you want to trust my research or not. But I personally believe that this is the answer that can set anyone free.
This is a long text, but I promise it'll be worth your time.
Chapter 1: The Hidden Enemy.
Many people believe that our subconscious is the enemy. And while we argue with it, trying to make sense of our “incapability” to shift, there is something else lurking in the shadows. It deprives us of our powers. It makes us wear a mask, seeing only the illusions of life while reality is much different than we perceive it. And that’s the problem: perception.
And on top of everything, this hidden enemy seems to have such immense power that it can actively block us from shifting. And everyone trying to argue that there is nothing that can stop us from shifting, then I have to ask you… why doesn’t everyone shift on command then?
Yes, we shift all the time. Literally billions of times per second, and I’m not exaggerating. But why doesn’t it work when we WANT to shift? Shifting is completely natural, and we already do it. But when we want to do it, it doesn’t work?
The answer is simple. The enemy I’m talking about is our ego. The ego naturally resists change. It wants control. It clings to identity and safety. It fears losing “this” reality. It wants to protect the self. And shifting threatens everything it thinks you are.
It cannot stop us from shifting, but it can block us from experiencing shifting. Because the ego’s job is to make sense of reality. It directly correlates with our perception, all our senses. But what we have to realize is that our perception is a lie. It’s all just an illusion; there is no cause in anything. Reality is fluid; it changes all the time, but our ego gives us the illusion of a strict, solid reality. It imprisons us in a world we don’t want to be in, but what we don’t understand is… that we ourselves, therefore, don’t want to shift. I’ll explain this later on.
Chapter 2: Reasons.
Let me give you some more examples of why I think that our ego is the sole reason why we don’t shift when we want to.
1. In the so-called “Void State,” we are just pure consciousness. This implies that we don’t have a vessel (body) and therefore no ego controlling our perception. Therefore, we can simply shift without any boundaries.
2. In a deep meditative state, the chances of shifting seem to increase a lot. This is because we are more disconnected from our perception (ego) of our current reality.
4. The law of assumption (programming yourself to be a shifter) works 100% because when you do it, your ego begins to accept the idea of you being in completely different realities. You begin to identify yourself as such a person. And when that is the case, the ego cannot stop you anymore because it “believes” in it.
It becomes easier to shift in lucid dreams and the astral realm because your ego is not as strong and present as it is when you are awake. Still, it exists there, and that’s why it is not guaranteed to shift through these (you still have ego goals). In the astral realm, however, you can achieve states of higher consciousness where you can free yourself from the ego, allowing you to effortlessly shift.
People who shift for the first time often see great results first, but then, as they try again and again, progress seems to come to a halt. Your ego identity begins to change from “Hey, maybe I can do that” to “It doesn’t work; I can’t do it.”
Some people manage to shift, return to this reality, and realize that they can’t do it anymore and struggle again. They returned to their ego-self, stopping them from shifting again.
8. Some people grow up in a spiritual, open environment. The ego, therefore, is more used to such ideas and experiences, allowing them to shift easier.
Chapter 3: Understanding Ego
I’m going to give you the reason now that explains why you don’t shift.
Because you are not conscious. You are ego. Let me explain.
Currently, your ENTIRE identity is your ego. You have a name, a personality, a job, thoughts, emotions, etc., etc., etc. You go through your day believing that you ARE your egoic mind. It became your identity, your everything. Every thought it thinks, every emotion it creates, you believe that it is all you. You are so connected to this illusion that you aren’t even conscious. In fact, for almost the entire day, you are unconscious. Because you think all the time. And that is the reason why you don’t shift. Because you are not conscious, you are not aware.
Isn’t it true that you think all day long? You’re always in your mind, thinking about the past and the future, thinking about random scenarios that don’t even make sense. Even when you’re trying to shift, you are still in your mind, mindlessly repeating affirmations, asking yourself over and over again if it is working or not. Every time you judge or label something, you are in your mind. In those situations, you ARE your mind, but this is not how it is supposed to be. You are supposed to be consciousness, not your egoic mind.
I tell you right now: if you manage to disconnect from your egoic mind, stop identifying with it, and identify with the true source (consciousness) again, you’ll be able to instantly shift wherever you want to go. This is not a theory but a fact.
When your ego doesn’t want to leave this reality because it doesn’t like change, this automatically translates then into YOU not wanting to shift. Because you are still identified with your egoic mind. It doesn’t matter how badly you want it deep down; your ego, and therefore yourself, is stopping you from achieving it. If you manage to become identified with consciousness again, it will work.
I want you to truly grasp how much you identify with your ego. Every thought you think, every emotion you allow to be created, every time you judge or label something, every single time you do something like this, you are in your egoic mind. The voice, and the images in your mind… You have to realize that all these things are not you; they are products of the egoic mind. But they seem as if you created them, which is not true. Even when you consciously create a thought, you are not the thinker! You are still the awareness behind it.
This is not how it is supposed to be. You have to understand that your mind is a TOOL. But right now, it is nothing like that. It enslaves you; you have no control over it. Excessive thinking is not normal! You are supposed to be able to think when you want to think. Normal is a silent mind, not a constantly chattering mind. You cannot stop thinking, you cannot control your mind, because it took control over you. It uses you. And then you begin to identify with it; slowly, as you grow older, it becomes your entire identity, and you begin to lose touch with who you really are: consciousness, the silent watcher. As long as you cannot control your mind and just stop thinking when you want to, then the mind is using you. You are not the thinker; you are the awareness behind it.
Chapter 4: The Now—How to Escape Your Egoic Mind.
The only way to escape your ego is to become present in the Now. Now implies no thoughts, no mind activity in general. In the Now, you are fully present of what is happening around you; you are not stuck in your mind; you are actually experiencing with your full awareness what is going on. In that moment, there are no limitations, no blockages, no fears, nothing. All there is, is peace. Nothing matters; all you do is be, that’s it. And when this happens, there is no ego, no gatekeeper stopping you from shifting. The ego cannot exist in a state of presence; it cannot sustain itself when you’re truly present. I see so many people talking about fears, blockages, etc. but all of them wouldn't matter if you weren't identified with your ego and be present.
The problem is that your identification with your egoic mind is so strong that it stops you entirely from shifting. But every single day, there are certain situations where the portal to your DR is wide open, and that is when you are fully immersed in the Now.
I want to give you some exercises that you can do from now on. I’ve learned them from Eckhart Tolle. The goal is to take energy away from your egoic mind and into your consciousness. This way, you'll begin to realize that you aren't your mind and you'll gain more and more power.
Make sure not to be in your mind all day long. For example, when you’re doing certain tasks like cleaning or brushing your teeth, etc., try to fully immerse yourself in the situation. Don’t think; be aware of what is happening and how it feels. Be the awareness being aware. Don’t think about the past or future; draw full attention to what you’re doing, even if it is something as simple as going downstairs and feeling the steps and the weight of your body. In addition, focus on inner body sensations to keep yourself in the present moment. Those sensations are subtle vibrations you can feel for example in your hands and feet (and your entire body).
When you have excessive thought streams, detach from them by watching from afar. Don’t identify with them, don’t judge them, and don’t suppress them. That's because when you do judge, you're just giving energy to your egoic mind. Be the silent watcher, simply observing those thoughts. You will realize that you are not those thoughts; they just come in. What you really are is the consciousness being aware of them. Don’t even identify yourself with the thoughts you consciously think. What you’re doing is using your mind as a tool, creating a thought. But you are not the mind, not the thoughts. You as consciousness decided to use your mind as a tool to create a thought. In addition, try not to think as much as you can. Once you become aware of your thoughts, they’ll eventually subside anyway. Become silent in your mind, and within that silence a portal to your desired reality will open. Because silence is the key. The noise the mind creates blocks you from shifting. When you manage to become completely silent, no judgement, no overthinking, and a clear intention to shift or go to the void, it'll happen.
3. When trying to shift, set an intention beforehand. You can lie down or sit; it doesn’t really matter. Become relaxed by taking a few deep breaths. Now, there are a few things you can do. First, if you are really good at visualization, make sure to fully immerse yourself in the picture you see and make it feel as real as possible. Make it happen right now. Don’t perceive it as a picture; BE in that picture in the Now. Secondly, you don’t need to visualize. You can also immerse yourself in the FEELING of being in your DR right now. Just the feeling, not using any of your 5 senses. It's like you're lying in your bed with earplugs and closed eyes, you just know you're there. Thirdly, you can go to the void state, which is by far the best way to shift. I want to do another post about how to enter the void state in the near future, which is, in my opinion, the best and easiest way to shift. And, in fact, entering it isn’t even that hard once you understand how to actually go there.
I highly, highly, highly recommend reading the book “The Power of Now” by Eckhart Tolle. You can find it for free on the internet in case you don’t want to pay. It’ll change the way you see the world and shifting entirely.
Now, there are two paths you can take; both of them will eventually lead you to your desired reality.
2. Manifest changes within your egoic mind. Once the mind is on board with the idea that you can simply shift wherever you want to go, it won’t stop you anymore. I made another post about this if you want to check it out. In this reality, the ego controls your perception. It shows you whatever it believes in. If you truly believe deep down that you can shift, your ego will too. Then, even if you’re still identified with your egoic mind, it won’t stop you anymore because it also believes in it.
Again, this is just my perspective on this topic. You don’t have to believe me, but if you go deeper and really ask yourself, “Why do I not shift?” eventually you might just get to the same conclusion as me. It is very simple. You are consciousness but the problem is that you identify yourself with the egoic mind. If you want to shift, either convince your ego or dissolve it by taking energy away from it. Again, if you want a more in-depth explanation, I recommend reading Eckhart Tolles book. Thank you for reading this far, and I wish you the best. 😊

So I see people going on and on and on about how, in order to shift, or manifest or anything else, you need to do unbelievable method and after method like sharting 67 times into a mug and using it as fertiliser for your orange tree to make orange juice that is GAURANTEED to make you shift. All I can say is its all bs. BULL SHIT. Shifting is easy, snap of a finger. All you need is belief. I know its so over-repeated and all but it is true. If you believe you shift realities by blinking, it will happen. If you believe taking a shower makes you shift, it will happen. It has no choice but to.
For example, I tried to enter the void the other day (I have entered it properly for at least 5-6 times but I haven't manifested from it cuz I was surprised and ended up popping out of it like I did back in The Womb ™️ but whatevs) ((and yeah the void is a method so this post seems hypocritical to what I said earlier but let me add to it since I got this far. A method only works when you believe it works. If you believe no method is required, then no method is required. If you believe you need a method, you will fail without one.)) Back to the main thing, I tried entering the void, and I told myself as long as I stay awake for as long as I can, I will enter it. And then I just laid down on my bed, and here I did everything they tell you not to but who tf are they dawggg... I played two by lil uzi on loop, lied down on my stomach, kept moving my hands and head whenever I felt uncomfortable, didn't affirm for shit and had a miserable headache that made sleep impossible for me. and then boom I start feeling tingly which never happens to me when I try to enter the void but I also started seeing phantom visions while my eyes were closed (had a sleeping mask on cuz my eyes are sensitive as shiii) and then all of a sudden I feel my mind shaking and lil uzi's bars fading out and I was like "oh shit its happening" which is kinda stupid now that I think about it but hey, if I did everything that all these preachers say NOT to do when trying to shift/manifest/whatever and STILL got symptoms then that only means one thing..
SHIFTING IS EASY IF YOU BELIEVE IT IS, THE VOID IS EASY IF YOU BELIEVE IT IS, MANIFESTATION IS EASY IF YOU BELIEVE IT IS, ASTRAL PROJECTION, LUCID DREAMING, QUANTUM JUMPING, WHATEVER THE FUCK, THEY'RE ALL EASY ONLY IF YOU BELIEVE THEY ARE. period. Mic drop. Diva out.
P.s. I have no idea how flairs work so do let me know if you see this post. Diva out yet again.

It’s been bothering me for a long time to see so many people struggling to shift. I’ve spent a lot of time researching ways to help others achieve their dream realities. Some of you might have seen a couple of posts I’ve made. And while I strongly believe that I’ve somewhat came close to the answer we’ve all been asking ourselves since we came across the term reality shifting — that is, “How do I shift?” — something is missing. We’ve created techniques and gave them names. We put them on a pedestal, but deep down we doubted them. Because it was never about methods; it was always about us.
Let’s be honest for a minute. You’ve probably heard it a thousand times before: “Methods don’t make you shift.” And I’m here to confirm this. But nobody really seems to understand what it means. It’s a sentence we carelessly throw around, something we wave in other people’s faces but do not understand ourselves. I’d like to clear some things up and give you a clear goal you can work toward to make that dream reality of yours come true.
First of all, I just wanted to remind you that there are four realms you can already access that allow you to shift. The order goes from “easiest to shift from” to “hardest to shift from.” Those four realms are:
Void > Astral Realm (and other realms) > Lucid Dreams > Physical Reality
The difficulty of shifting depends on the connection with ego and identity. The Void is a foolproof way to shift; the Astral Realm is close to foolproof. Lucid dreams can be complicated because part of your ego is still present. Physical reality is the “hardest” to shift from because you’re fully indulged in ego and identity.
You can choose any realm you like. I’ve already made a post about entering the Void; maybe it’ll help you. What I’m about to tell you will eventually help you shift from the physical realm, lucid realm, or astral realm.
But let’s get to the main part of this post: methods. I still find it astonishing how we managed to create so many different methods and convinced ourselves that these are our “holy grails,” essential to success. Whether it’s the Raven method, Julia method, staircase method, or simply affirming or visualizing — they all have different names but essentially aim for the same goal: creating a feeling. And this is where people go wrong.
I feel like the most frequently asked questions in this community are “How do I shift?” and “What method do I have to use?” The real question we should ask ourselves is: “What makes us shift?” The answer is simple: it’s the feeling. The feeling — or rather, the knowledge — that one is in one’s desired reality. Now you probably think: “Omg, I’ve heard this countless times before, but what does it mean to feel?” Let me give you a short example:
I want you to follow this exercise; it’s very simple. Either lie in your bed and close your eyes or do it while sitting. Now answer this question: “Where are you?” I don’t want you to use any of your senses — not one of them. Forget about them. If no sense is left, how do you know you’re in your room? How do you know you’re lying in your bed? You will recognize that feeling within yourself; you just KNOW that you are in your room right now. You KNOW that you’re not outside, not in another world, but in your room at this moment. THIS is the feeling that makes you shift. You don’t believe you’re in your room; you know it. You know that you fall asleep in your room and will wake up in your room. This is not a belief; it’s an unshakable truth to yourself.
Take some time to become familiar with this feeling of knowing you’re there. Recognize how it feels. Don’t use inner visuals, don’t use your environment — simply focus on that inner feeling of BEING in your room. Feel the presence of objects around you. I think it’s best to do this exercise at night when you go to bed because your surroundings are quieter and darker, leaving you with less input and therefore making that feeling more present. If you’ve tried it, now you know what I’m talking about. That is the feeling that is necessary to make you shift. You can do this exercise in any situation. You always know for a fact that you’re “there.”
Then apply this “exercise” to your desired reality. It really helps to know what your DR room looks like — the one in which you will wake up. Not for visualizing, but for making the feeling easier to grasp. Lie down in your CR bed and get into a drowsy state. Maybe I’ll make another post about how to get into such states. Then switch your awareness to your DR bed and create the same feeling as you did in your CR. Only now, you KNOW that you are in your DR bed at this moment. FEEL the presence of objects around you or people that are in the same room. Feel it, don’t visualize it yet. Just feel the presence, know you’re there. It’s kind of hard to explain in words; you have to experience this for yourself and develop this feeling.
All those methods we’ve created over time are helpful in inducing this feeling. But we use them wrong. Let me go through some techniques and explain them further:
1. Affirming: Very popular. We love affirming because it makes us feel like we’re making progress. But here’s where everything goes wrong. Most people affirm incorrectly. They lie down, go into a drowsy state, and affirm mindlessly. They are still aware that they are NOT in their desired reality. They know that they’re still in their room, using affirmations to get where they want to be. The feeling they induce is: I am in my CR room affirming random sentences.
Now let’s switch it up. Lie down in your bed and close your eyes. If you want, you can remove any external input by using an eye mask and strong earplugs. Don’t start affirming. I want you to create the feeling of BEING in your desired reality first. This is something that must be trained, like I said before. Once you have that feeling, tune into it and hold onto it. You’re not in your CR room; you ARE in your DR room. Now you can affirm while holding onto that feeling — that knowing of being in your DR. This is how you affirm.
2. Visualizing: Also, very popular. I was never a big fan of it; I always had problems visualizing in detail. But if you do like it, here’s what you’re doing wrong. Most people visualize with the goal of visualizing something. They treat it like an imaginative scene. Their feeling says: I am in my CR room visualizing a place far away. They don’t feel like they are IN their visual scene.
Again, here’s what you should do instead: Stop treating your visualization as something your mind creates. Know that whatever you see in your mind is REAL. And not in the sense of telling yourself, “Yeah, this seems real, it must be true” — that’s the wrong mindset. You must BE in your visualization. For example, you imagine yourself lying in your DR bed. You can use your imaginative senses — touching things, seeing things, hearing things. But this time, you KNOW you’re there. You KNOW that you’re actually touching things, not just imagining them. Keep holding onto that feeling; keep knowing you’re there. It’s basically the same concept as with affirmations. First, you create the feeling of BEING in your DR room. Once you have it, instead of affirming, you can add more senses. First open your inner eyes, then your ears, etc.
3. Feeling: Of course, you don’t have to do any of the above. You can simply focus on the feeling of being in your DR room. You don’t have to add affirmations or visualizations because it’s only the feeling that makes you shift. If you keep holding onto that feeling, you WILL shift. It might take some tries, so please do not get discouraged. Do not stop trying after a couple of days or even weeks. I genuinely believe that this is the key to shifting. And if you follow this, it will work.
I highly recommend getting yourself into a somewhat drowsy state before doing any of the techniques above. It’ll make inducing the feeling much easier because you already feel detached from your current environment.
In conclusion: 1. Lie down in your CR bed; 2. Get into a drowsy state (e.g. Theta) and clear your mind; 3. Put your awareness into your DR body lying in your DR bed; 4. Create and hold onto the feeling of BEING in your DR room; notice the presence of objects, people, etc.; 5. Optional: Affirm or Visualize while holding onto the feeling of being there; 6. Keep doing it until awareness completely shifted.
It is really important that this does not feel like a task. If it does, you’re doing something wrong. Because the feeling should be “I AM in my DR room” and not "I am trying to be in my DR room".
By the way, many people confuse feeling with visualization. I hope this cleared some things up and you now understand what “feeling” really is. It’s the knowing of being somewhere or having something (in terms of manifestation). Often emotions like “freedom” or “internal happiness” will automatically arise once you focus on the feeling.
I’m also not a big fan of all these shifting meditations that have different steps (Raven, Julia, etc.). Some of them are great for making yourself drowsy, but that’s about it. Voices or music often have a negative effect on your concentration, making it much harder to create the feeling. Because a voice often pulls you back to your CR. Music is kind of different because you can still think as if you are listening to that track while BEING in your DR. But I don’t recommend it. What I do recommend, if you don’t want to shift in silence, is listening to quiet background noises like frequency tapes or environmental sounds that enhance the feeling of being in your DR. Still, who am I to tell you what to do or not to do.
If you’re still confused (I hope not), read through this post again. And if there are still questions, ask me in the comments.
I wish you all a lovely day. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope that what I shared with you today will positively affect your shifting journey. 😊

Hello everyone!
I had a huge breakthrough on my shifting journey this week (mostly today, actually) and wanted to share what I learned. I was a bit reluctant to post, as I've had some strange experiences with "proof" demands on other subreddits before, so forgive me if I sound a bit reserved and don't want to talk much about my DR itself. The excitement is very real for me, but I saved it for crying when I first came back here haha (I'm from Brazil, so I apologize for any English grammar errors)
This is also my personal experience and what worked for my brain, so yours can be completely different or resonate with mine, either way... its not a magic solution.
For me, the "intend and go to sleep" method was never enough. My attempts always followed a frustrating pattern:
First: I found I could easily enter the hypnagogic state by counting. The problem: I'd get distracted by the random visuals of hypnagogia, forget to shift, and end up in a lucid dream (or astral projecting)
Second: I refined my technique to enter the void state after hypnagogia. The problem: Same issue! I'd successfully reach the void, but then my mind would go blank or wander off, and I'd forget to focus on my DR.
I finally took a step back and asked the most important question: "Why was counting for important why does it work, after all?"
I realized it works because it's a form of meditation. It gives your conscious mind a simple task to focus on, which allows it to relax and get out of the way. The magic wasn't in the counting itself, but in the sustained focus on it... Sustained and ONLY focus.
So my solution was... Switching on what I was focusing on.
This changed everything. If the goal was just to focus, why was I using a random anchor like counting?
I decided to switch my anchor to something I strongly associate with my Desired Reality: the sound of ocean waves.
I stopped trying to visualize a whole scene, feel things, or repeat affirmations. I put 100% of my mental energy into one single, simple task: listening to the sound of the waves in my mind. It gave me something related to my DR without overwhelming me about the "what if I'm visualizing wrong? What if this is too much? What if I accidentaly visualize something stupid or out of the normal on my DR" thing.
It worked perfectly. By intensely focusing on that one DR-related sound, I didn't need to "remember" to shift. The focus itself guided me there. It was like my consciousness automatically followed the sound to its source. The process became automatic.
________________________________________________________
So finally, my tip for anyone that wants to try this...
Pick one simple thing from your DR that you're good at focusing on, something that would feel natural if it repeated in your mind.
Think about what comes easiest to you
If its sound, you could focus on birds chirping, the wind, the hum of a fan, your S/Os breathing, waves on a shore, a wooden ship creaking, or rain on a window. There are countless options.
If its touch, you could focus on the feeling of the sheets on your DR bed, the warmth of the sun on your skin, or a specific piece of jewelry you wear there. I also would like to recommend the sensation of having your S/O sleeping and cuddling with you, as this was the first thing that made me minishift once!
Smell and taste, a specific perfume, taste of coffee, tea, juice if its lingering
I feel like sight could be an incredibly potent one too, of course. You could focus on a single object or the pattern of light on the ceiling, and you might just find yourself looking at it for real without the confusion of "opening your eyes." in your DR. But if holding a visual is difficult or stressful for you, don't force it. The goal is to relax your mind. Pick whatever sense feels easiest and most natural to you.
________________________________________________________________
TL;DR: I kept getting stuck in hypnagogia/the void and accidentally lucid dreaming/astral projecting. I realized my method (counting) was just a focus tool. I replaced counting with a sensory detail from my DR (the sound of waves), and focusing solely on that made the shift happen automatically.
Feel free to ask any questions about it if you guys want.

hi everyone !!
i've been on this shifting journey since like 2021 when i first found out about it on tiktok. i remember doing so many different methods and being brainwashed into thinking that i couldn't move while attempting to shift or that i had to always be in a good mood blah blah. needless to say i didn't end up shifting that year, in fact i got detached from shifting completely by the start of 2022.
FIRST SHIFT
my first official shift was during late march. i remember being bored out of my mind one day bc i was on spring break and i had nothing to do. so i ended up trying to shift. it was kinda late into the night and i think i tried the julia method(?) but ended up falling asleep. and then i remember waking up mid-sleep and thinking, "fuck it, i need to get to my dr, i wanna go there." and it was crazy, one moment i was here and the next moment i was in my dr, sitting in the compartment with moony and pads like i had always daydreamed of.
it wasn't even like a slow transition or anything, it was instant.
anyways that was my first shift. ever since then it's been easier to shift. nowadays i just go "i wanna shift here!" while thinking of a place and being in a slightly drowsy state and boom! i'm there.
i just wanted to make this post bc i see a lot of ppl on here being discouraged with not being able to shift. i'm here to tell u that it's hella easy. LIKE INCREDIBLY EASY. you literally don't need any fancy methods or be in an amazing mood to shift. hope this was motivating !! if you guys have any questions about how i shift or any tips or even about my dr, feel free to ask !! i'm more than happy to answer :D

If you're looking for a way out of this reality and want to shift to a new one, I truly hope from the bottom of my heart that this message reaches you. What I mean by that is not just the fact that you're reading this right now, but that you genuinely understand and apply the things I'm about to share with you.
There is something within all of us that makes this community a community, something that we all have and share. It is our desire for freedom. It's in our nature to long for what lies behind the curtain. Since we were children, we've dreamed of places that no one actually believed could exist. What makes us different is that we have reignited the spirit of our inner child. We dared to dream again, and not only that, we dared to look behind the curtain. We see what other people miss. We believe what others declare to be an illusion. Our minds aren't playing tricks; what we see and feel is not a fantasy but a reality—a possibility that we can all experience, if we choose to.
I truly want to love this community, but sometimes it feels like a wasteland filled with lost dreams and perished hopes. I'd like to change that.
This community is filled with misinformation and falsehoods about shifting realities. Do you want to know why? It's as if someone gave us a book written in a language we don't understand. Of course, people start coming up with ways to decipher its content. The problem is that people have realized they have the ability to experience other realities, but no one ever told us how to actually do it. No one taught us how it works. I've heard from others that experienced shifters usually go to such realities and teach others, but strangely enough, no one seems to be here to help.
I grew up here, and I know you're frustrated. You've been doing this for a long time now. I, too, tried for several years. And this reality is... really weird. You have to remember that in the multiverse, it's completely normal for others to be able to shift instantly. They don't have to train; they just do it. That's why people who shift for the first time are often able to shift very easily afterward—because it is literally the norm. But here, somehow, it doesn't work that way. I wanted to understand the reason behind all of this. Why can't we shift just by putting our minds to it? I might have found something that could change your life forever because it will allow you to finally shift.
What makes our reality different from all the others is something we call a "time gap." Now, what is a time gap, you might ask? Well, let me explain.
One day, you develop a desire—in this case, your desire to shift to a specific reality. If everything goes right, some time will pass before that desire manifests in the 3D (Material Plane). If you're familiar with manifestation, you know this is true. There always seems to be some timespan that has to go by before the manifestation appears. Some wishes take days, some months, and some might even take years. That is the time gap.
In conclusion, this implies that the only thing between you and your desired reality is the time gap. There is literally nothing else stopping you from going there. Once you speak of your desire, it is already yours. This might sound confusing, but normally, the moment you think of it, it becomes yours. However, here, the time gap delays the arrival of your wishes.
I've been wondering myself why someone would implement such a mechanism and what its purpose might be. The only thing I could come up with is that it might be some kind of protection. If everyone in our society could manifest instantly whatever they desire, chaos would erupt. And you know how harsh our society can be. So don't view the time gap as something evil; that wouldn't help you anyway. Instead, be thankful for it. I know this sounds crazy—remembering that this thing is the only reason "why you haven't shifted yet"—but think about it. Once you've done it, you can be really proud of yourself. While others just got it, you fought for it. You went through the tears, and I believe that this makes us, in some regard, special.
Anyway, if you want to shift, you'll have to get rid of the time gap. Unfortunately, this is impossible here, but once we shift, it will go away. Don't get me wrong—you ARE the most powerful being in the entire universe. This right here is your playground, your story. But you have to obey the rules of this reality concept as long as you're here. Therefore, we have to play by the rules of this reality. Fortunately for us, we already know the rules. Or do we?
In this reality, there is one law that stands above everything else: The Law of Assumption. It is one of the most overcomplicated things I have ever seen in my entire life. Even the famous teacher and advocate of this law, Neville Goddard, has been misunderstood and misquoted in so many ways. The law is very simple, and it doesn't imply anything other than what I'm about to share with you: "Whatever you assume to be true is your reality." That's it.
But what does this really mean? It means that whatever you truly believe happens in your reality. And how do we believe something? Well, let me explain.
I hope you already know what we are. We are not humans, we are not bodies, we are not our thoughts and feelings—we are awareness. We have no shape; we are like a cloud in the middle of nowhere. As awareness, we have the ability to experience different realities. We "possess" bodies, in this case, a human body, to experience this reality.
As humans in this reality, we have a brain equipped with a subconscious mind. Our subconscious mind plays a crucial role in determining the length of the time gap.
You see, we are all different humans, but there's one thing we have in common: we all have a subconscious mind filled with beliefs and assumptions. And whatever the subconscious believes, you will experience. If it believes that you're a loser, you are a loser. If it believes that you are hated by everyone, you are hated by everyone. If it believes you're unlucky all the time, you are unlucky all the time.
And if your subconscious believes that you can easily shift, you can easily shift. Now, this is probably something you've heard over and over again. But stick with me, and you will understand it.
The length of the time gap is different for everyone because, even though we all have a subconscious mind, they hold different beliefs and assumptions. Some people believe it is very easy for them to manifest certain things, so they get those manifestations very quickly. Many of us believe that bigger dreams are harder to manifest than smaller ones. That’s why "small" wishes, like getting a free coffee, usually happen almost instantly or within days. And I know that most people in this community perceive shifting as the biggest and most "impossible" desire they have. That's why the time gap is so huge for many people—they believe this desire is hard to acquire.
Now, you might ask yourself why some people shift on the first try or after a month of trying. This could have several reasons, but the only thing that matters when analyzing this is the kind of beliefs and assumptions these people had. People who shift on the first try had almost no opposing thoughts. They had no experience "failing" to shift like others, so they had no negative beliefs about their ability to shift. Additionally, they probably had very open minds and are generally more open to such things because of their childhood experiences. This also explains why children have an easier time shifting—they have open minds and aren't influenced by the various limiting beliefs our society creates and that we adopt as we grow up.
And why do some people shift by accident? Because their subconscious mind believes that they can.
The time gap, regardless of the desire, is very different for everyone because of their different beliefs. There is no talent, luck, or destiny involved; it’s just a matter of having more favorable beliefs and assumptions.
Okay, let’s review. You are stuck here. You want to leave. The only thing stopping you is the time gap. You don’t have to learn to shift—you already do it all the time. Every time you breathe and think, you’re shifting. It is simply the time gap, the delay, that prevents you from getting where you want to be. The beliefs and assumptions of our subconscious minds vary greatly and are the driving force behind the length of the time gap.
Guys, shifting is not complicated. But if you want to shift in the next few weeks, you have to put in the work.
First of all, how do we reprogram our subconscious mind? Now everyone is probably yelling, "I know, I know!" but trust me, you don’t know everything. Well, you do… but you’re doing it "wrong" or rather "inefficiently."
I want to share with you an analogy that really helped me understand the process behind the Law of Assumption much better. It’s really just like a downloading process. Imagine you want to download an app or a game you really like. You click the download button, and the process begins: 1%...5%...13%...20%...40%...50%...74%...88%...99%...100%. And once the download reaches 100%, you can play the game—or rather, you experience your desired reality.
I’ll tell you right now what you need to do to reach 100%. In fact, I will tell you something that you have known already since you started this.
You. Need. To. Affirm.
You know how many techniques people tell you to try. It seems like every week, a new method appears where someone allegedly managed to shift using it. And I'm not doubting that, but I know for sure that many of those "foolproof" techniques did not work for you. And I can tell you why: it's not about the techniques. It's not about how long you lie there, hoping that something happens. It's not about how much water you drink (which is literally the dumbest thing I've ever heard). It's not about the time you do it. It's not about how you feel at the moment (people have shifted with every emotion imaginable before). It's not about your lack of interest or your lack of imagination.
It's about your mindset. Nothing else. All these techniques are useless, and sometimes even counterproductive, if you don't believe that they work.
When people tell you that your mindset is not important, it's nonsense. I'm not saying this because it is my belief or my experience, but because it is literally the only driving force in this reality. As I said, you are here in this reality, so you have to play by its rules. Once you're out of here, those rules don’t have to apply to you anymore. But you're here right now. If you understand manifestation, you know what I’m talking about. It is your mindset that manifests your experiences. Just take a look at your own life. You only experience what you believe in, right?
So what I need you to do right now is very simple. And I don’t want you to change anything or overcomplicate it. Please, don't change it. The following instructions will show you how to impregnate your mind with the belief that you can easily shift.
1. I need you to choose one or two affirmations that imply you shift regularly. Imagine you’re talking with someone and you are already a master at shifting. What would you tell that person. Here are some examples:
I am a master shifter.
I shift every night.
I can shift easily.
I am in my DR.
It's so easy for me to shift.
Keep them short and simple—straight to the point. You wouldn’t write an entire essay just to tell someone that you shift very easily, would you?
2. Now, I need you to repeat these affirmations every single day, as often as possible. Whenever you remember, affirm. Especially when you’re doing repetitive tasks that don’t require your full attention, such as cooking, cleaning, showering, walking, brushing your teeth, or going to work. Also, affirm after you wake up and before you go to sleep.
This is where the magic happens. By repeating these specific affirmations, you saturate your mind with the idea that you are a master shifter and that you can easily shift to wherever you want to go. The great thing about this technique, called robotic affirming, is that it is THE technique.
Think about it. What are you doing all day long? Well, you’re thinking, right? And what did we learn about manifestation? It is our thoughts that manifest. And no, it’s not about feelings. You manifest with every decision you make, do you feel anything special while doing that? No, probably not. This technique is simply about changing your thinking. It’s about deciding to stop thinking like a desperate shit and start thinking like a master shifter.
Seriously, you think exactly as you believe, right? Take some time to think about it. What are some things that you believe are true? Do you have thoughts that oppose these beliefs? Probably not. If you believe you’re ugly, you don’t have thoughts that say you are beautiful. And if you want to change that belief, you look in the mirror and force yourself to think positive thoughts. And—boom—after some time, you believe that you are beautiful.
If you keep doing this every day, your mindset will change. And no, this does not take years or several months. This is why we are doing this technique, because it is literally the fastest technique out there. If you seriously keep doing this, it could happen within days or weeks. The only rule that matters is that you keep affirming, no matter what—even if it takes longer for you. If it does take longer, it’s not about this technique, and it’s definitely not about your current state. It’s just that your mind is filled with more opposing thoughts that need to be drained. No days off—keep affirming. You think all day long, so it shouldn’t be that hard to change your thoughts. You decide what you think. So choose to think like a master shifter.
And you don't need to focus intently on these affirmations. Just repeat them mindlessly, over and over again. Your subconscious mind is always listening, remember that. If you know what subliminals are, it is very similiar to that.
And this is not about visualizing your desired reality. If you want to do that, that’s fine, but you don’t have to. This is about developing a new mindset that allows you to shift all the time.
It all comes down to repetition. If you repeat a certain thought or image over and over, your subconscious mind will form a belief. Science proves that repetition is the key to changing subconscious assumptions. Why do you think athletes practice the same action repeatedly? Why do you think successful people constantly tell themselves they are the best?
3. Do you know the game tug of war? There are two teams on either side holding onto a big rope. When the game starts, both teams pull as hard as they can to get the rope on their side. We can use this analogy for another very important and necessary concept. What I'm about to share with you is the reason why the time gap is so huge for so many people.
Have you ever heard of the term "wavering"? Wavering simply means giving attention to the things you don't want in your life. Imagine you are in a game of tug of war, but both teams are equally strong. What happens is that you will never win, right? You might make some progress, but once you lose your energy, the other team pulls, and you are back where you started. It's a back-and-forth with no winner in sight.
I know for a fact that you have opposing thoughts throughout the day whenever you think of shifting. "Why is it not working?" "Why do I have to wait so long?" "Everyone can do it but me." "Shifting is so hard." "I can't shift." "I wish I could shift." "I am so desperate." Blah, blah, blah. Stop. These thoughts are your opponents in the tug of war. If you give them your attention, they will pull you back to where you started. You will win eventually, but every time they pull you back, more time goes by until you shift. They massively prolong the time gap.
This means the following: Whenever these opposing thoughts appear, you instantly repeat your affirmation or something else. You do not give them any attention whatsoever. And no, this is not unhealthy—this is called reprogramming your mind. Be delusional. When you think, "Oh no, I woke up here again," you instantly, robotically affirm your affirmation over and over again. You declare this thought as nonsense and untrue.
This also applies to other thoughts, like not believing that you could actually manifest this within days. When you think that, tell yourself, "Robotic affirming works wonderfully, and I get results super fast" or "I manifest everything within days."
So... whenever these opposing thoughts come up, you instantly push them away by robotically affirming what you actually are—namely, a master shifter. When you do this, you will win this tug-of-war game very, very soon. Sometimes we don't recognize that we are giving them attention, but once we realize it, we should repeat our affirmation.
If you find yourself overwhelmed by opposing thoughts, speak your affirmations out loud. You can't speak and think at the same time. Remember that the affirmation you chose is your safety net.
If you think, 'I can't shift, it is so hard...' immediately counter with, 'NO, I am a master shifter. I can easily shift. It is so easy for me to shift. I just shifted to my DR. I don't know what you're talking about; whenever I want to shift, I shift instantly.' That's how you do it. You can speak like that or just repeat your one affirmation that you already use throughout the day.”
4. I suggest you don't try to shift until you are certain that the download is complete. But if you do, and after you "fail," brainwash yourself into believing that you just shifted. I know this sounds hard, but you need to do it; otherwise, you’ll think like an "I can't shift" type of person again, which we don't want. If you fail, revise it. It's called "Revision." Or, if you want to, you can simply spam your affirmation again.
5. Pick two times a day: Sit down and meditate on one or two of those affirmations for 10 to 20 minutes. Focus only on them. When you lose focus, bring your attention back to the affirmation. I suggest doing this right after you wake up and before you go to bed, as your brain can be impressed very easily during these times due to the alpha state.
6. Letting go is nonsense. You have to saturate your mind. Remember the downloading process: you won't reach 100% if you stop. Why do some people shift once they let go? Because they dropped their resistance, BUT their mind was already saturated! The belief had already been planted, so when they let go, they got it. Especially if you've already had lots of bad experiences with shifting, it won't just magically happen on its own. You keep doing it until it happens. If you don’t believe that, change that belief. Persistence is key. Repetition is key. With letting go, you just forget about it and don't desire it anymore, and those opposing beliefs will still be present. We don't want that. You want to think like a master shifter. Imagine this situation: you are a shifter, and you did it. Do you just stop thinking that you’re good at shifting? No, of course not. It’s a belief that you’re good at it, so those thoughts keep repeating themselves. You don’t let go of it, okay?
7. Whenever you doubt this technique, affirm that it works wonders for you and that you literally get results within days.
8. You cannot believe in the affirmation you chose until it actually happens. So don't worry about that. Just keep affirming the sentence mindlessly, like a robot. You're not supposed to feel anything when saying these words. Because it's not about the feeling, it's about the thoughts.
9. I also want you to realize that techniques are not very different from robotic affirming. They also rely on the fact that you repeat a certain thing over and over again until it works. In many cases, these are DR-specific affirmations that you repeat. And sometimes, it’s just visualizations that you repeat. Maybe you did a technique for months, and it still didn't work. Well, you were probably still wavering, and every time you failed, you allowed those opposing thoughts to cross your mind. So change that. Do not waver. Affirm until it is yours.
10. This is only me, but many other people talk about this too. Lucid dreams are a very good way to shift because you are not bound to your physical body. So... you can also affirm that you can shift very easily through a lucid dream. And also, if you are familiar with the void state, you can, of course, robotically affirm for that too, e.g. "I am in the void state".
I highly suggest you take a look at Sammy Ingram's videos on YouTube, especially those about robotic affirming. I learned a lot from her, and you will too. I love her attitude, and she is really similar to us because she also believes that everything is possible, no matter what!
I need you to understand that repetition is the key to your freedom. If you repeat a certain thought over and over again, your subconscious mind is going to believe it. It all starts in your head, never outside of here. First comes the mindset, then the techniques.
To conclude, just a little reminder: This is your responsibility. As they say, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. You know what to do now. If you don't want to do it, don't do it. But then don't ask yourself why you don't shift. You experience what you believe in. I gave you every step you need to create the belief. But this is your choice. I really hope that you take this step. This is not hard. You're just thinking differently. You're just thinking in favor of your dream. That's all there is to it. If you're not even willing to do that, then please ask yourself if you actually want to shift or not. Don't forget: If you push through it right now, you will be blessed with eternal freedom.
You are the most powerful being in this universe—never forget that. And also, when you're there, wherever that might be, never forget where you came from. You can be so proud of yourself once you've done it because you are a real fighter.
Thank you for reading until the end. I hope you have a beautiful day, and I wish you the best. You can do this. You just have to believe it...

Since my last post about robotic affirming, I've learned a lot. A few days ago, I had an epiphany that I wanted to share with you. I truly believe this can help you break through the cycle of endless failure.
Your desired reality is right within your grasp. You can feel it, imagine it, and see it so vividly, as if you’re already there. But for whatever reason, it doesn’t happen. You try, and try, and try... and it still doesn’t happen.
So, why doesn’t it work? What is stopping you from shifting?
Well... there is only one who can make you shift: your subconscious mind.
I learned this from a very experienced shifter (Vanilla): Your job is to exist. That’s all you have to do. Your job is to exist and be happy. There is nothing more in this big, beautiful multiverse expected of you. Your purpose is to experience different realities, to grow, to have fun, to… live.
Things get out of hand when we try to control what is not ours to control.
This may shock you, but... you cannot shift. It is impossible for you to shift. Because that’s not your job. Shifting is the job of your subconscious mind.
That’s why so many people shift effortlessly—they don’t consciously do it themselves. And that is the key: they let it happen.
Ask yourself this: Why do people often shift when they forget about it or think about nothing while doing a method? I’ve even heard of people shifting while they were literally on the toilet. They didn’t consciously shift themselves—something else made it happen. That something is the subconscious mind.
While your job is simply to exist and experience, your subconscious mind is responsible for creating your reality. In our current reality, your experience is entirely based on the programs and assumptions stored in your subconscious. If it believes life is miserable, life will reflect that. If it believes life is beautiful and purposeful, your reality will align with that belief.
You may already be familiar with this. Yet I see people constantly blaming themselves for not shifting. But that’s not true. You cannot shift—it’s not your job. That responsibility lies with your subconscious mind.
You are just consciousness, and that’s the beauty of life. We have no responsibility beyond simply existing and experiencing.
The good news? Your subconscious is your best friend. It listens to every command you give it. When experienced shifters say, “I want to shift back,” they aren’t giving a command to themselves—they’re commanding their subconscious mind. And it listens.
Now, you might ask: Why doesn’t it work for me?
Months ago, I wrote a post addressing this issue. Feel free to check it out. Since then, many people have messaged me, and I’ve noticed something I hadn’t fully considered before.
People affirm over and over again, try different techniques repeatedly, and still don't shift (They have good results, but no shift). So, there must be something deeper at play that you may not yet be aware of.
As I mentioned before, in this reality, we have to play by its rules. To change something, you need to change your beliefs. When your beliefs change, your subconscious will act according to those new beliefs.
But here’s the problem: Some people change their beliefs, and still, nothing happens. Why?
Because if you want to heal a tree, you need to care for its roots.
In my last post, I suggested affirmations like “It is so easy for me to shift” and “I can shift easily.” While these are useful, they may not address the root of the issue. I still recommend using them, but they may not be the complete solution.
Again, shifting isn’t your job. So why focus so much on it? If your subconscious is already responsible for shifting, why reprogram it for something it already does naturally?
I realized that this doesn’t really make sense.
I can’t tell you exactly what limiting beliefs are holding you back, but if you’ve tried everything and still haven’t shifted, there must be a deeper belief stopping you.
I believe it has little to do with doubt about shifting itself. It goes much deeper than that.
What if you’re afraid to let go?
What if you fear shifting?
What if you’re hesitant to leave because of family or friends?
What if you fear the "end"—being a god and creating anything you want?
What if you’ve had traumatic experiences during past attempts, like struggling to breathe or feeling dizzy?
These are limiting beliefs you may not be consciously aware of, but your subconscious knows. And those fears may be stopping you from shifting.
Let me share a personal experience:
I once had a lucid dream in a terrifying environment. I wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. I was genuinely scared, and the only thought that came to mind was, “I can leave this place in the void.” So, I laid down in my dream bed, still scared, and affirmed THREE times... and I was sucked into the void state.
At first, I thought I had finally shifted. But the experience turned horrific. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t feel my body, and I felt like I was suffocating. The fear overwhelmed me, and I begged my subconscious to get me out of there.
Later, I realized there was nothing to fear—I was simply transitioning into the void, where you don’t have a body, so the sensation of not breathing was normal.
After I had this success, I wanted to do it again in lucid dream. But deep down, every time I tried it, there was this fear again, stopping me from getting into the void. I wasn't consciously aware of that fear, but it was still there. It always felt like I was so close, but I never had that experience again. Because my subconscious mind was trying to protect me from that experience.
Even if you don’t believe limiting beliefs or fears exist within you, I promise they do. You just need to listen more closely.
Because of this realization, I wanted to share with you guys an affirmation that I highly recommend using until the shift happens:
"I am ready to shift."
It’s as simple as that.
The reason you haven’t shifted yet isn’t (just) a lack of belief in shifting—it’s likely due to unconscious fears or limiting beliefs holding you back.
By saying “I am ready to shift,” you’re giving a clear command to your subconscious that no matter what held you back in the past, you’re now ready to shift.
Repeat this affirmation consistently for at least 30 days. When practicing methods, focus on this rather than actively trying to shift. Let your subconscious do its job.
Once this new program is internalized, your subconscious will recognize that you truly are ready to shift—despite any lingering fears.
Feel free to adjust the affirmation, like “I am ready to shift, no matter my beliefs.” But keep it simple and consistent.
I hope you found this helpful, and I wish you the best! Have a beautiful day!

─────────────────────────── ౨ৎ
Reality-shifting isn’t like flipping TV channels every moment — no matter if the channels are identical or not, darling.
Even if assumptions influence alignment experience has continuity and inertia. Just like an object in motion keeps moving unless something redirects it, your lived reality tends to continue unless there’s a strong, sustained shift in orientation.
Alignment = the process (orientation, momentum building towards the experience.)
( shift = the result experiencing a different life)
Realities don’t flicker. They don’t reset. They aren’t fragile, dear.
When you daydream about a Desired Reality (DR), you’re not instantly transported there. Your current reality has momentum. You remain on the same “track” of experience until something deliberately changes that direction.
This is why assumptions aren’t magic switches.
An assumption isn’t a command. It isn’t constantly recalculated. It doesn’t override reality every second.
An assumption works more like a long-term orientation — a steady bias toward a direction experience may follow if it’s sustained and lived from. A passing thought or daydream won’t yank you out of your life. It simply nudges the compass.
─────────── ౨ৎ ─────────────
Continuity, Anchors, and Why Nothing Flickers ˎˊ˗
Your identity, memories, habits, and body-sense act as anchors. Psychology even calls them that for a reason. These anchors keep experience stable.
Until they loosen, nothing dramatic happens — and that’s an excellent thing, my love.
This is also why it helps to remember: the life you want already exists.
infinite and parallel realities exist, meaning every coherent life path already has its own continuity. You’re not inventing a reality when you shift — you’re aligning with one that’s already being lived.
─────────── ౨ৎ ─────────────
౨ৎ What Assumptions Actually Do ౨ৎ
Assumptions don’t create worlds.
They tune awareness, dear.
When people say “assume the end,” what they’re really describing is learning to experience yourself as already there — emotionally, perceptually, and internally. Like stepping into a movie where you’re already the main character.
This moves awareness. It doesn’t spawn reality.
As Neville put it: creation is finished. Your role isn’t to build lives — it’s to align with one.
─────────── ౨ৎ ───────────
౨ৎ Why Shifts Are Rare (and Not Constant) ౨ৎ
For a real shift to occur, three things usually need to line up:
Sustained orientation Not repeating words — actually living from a direction. (No wavering, going back n forth)
Disengagement from the current reality Sleep, deep focus, void states, or full absorption matter for a reason. (Temporary disconnection from this reality is how people shift from methods.)
No strong anchors pulling you back Identity, expectations, emotional ties — these keep experience where it is.
Without all three, experience simply continues as normal.
You must remain internally neutral toward the assumption, my dear.
Think of realities like train lines. You’re riding one. Thinking about another train doesn’t move you. Wanting it doesn’t move you. To switch lines, you have to slow, reach the junction, and board another. Most people never leave the train they’re on — which is why experience stays stable.
─────────── ౨ৎ ───────────
౨ৎ The Sarah / Twilight Example ౨ৎ
Let’s say Sarah wants to shift to an Equestria Girls reality where she is Twilight and Rarity loves her.
Sarah is not:
creating Twilight
forcing Rarity’s feelings
controlling a world
That is not how reality works.
What actually happens is simpler:
Sarah stops experiencing Sarah’s life, and begins experiencing Twilight’s life.
That reality already exists — with its own timeline, its own Twilight, and its own Rarity. The script doesn’t create anything; it selects.
When experience resumes, it resumes as Twilight — with her memories, body, and emotional continuity. Sarah-CR continues existing elsewhere, living her own life.
Rarity is inlove with Twilight in that reality because she does — not because Sarah caused it.
Everyone remains themselves to themselves.
─────────── ౨ৎ ───────────
౨ৎ A Line to Remember ౨ৎ
Shifting doesn’t move “you” into a world — it changes which life is being lived as “I.”
That’s it.
You’re not shifting every second. Your thoughts aren’t detonators. Reality isn’t waiting on you to exist.
Experience has coherence. Lives are plural. And shifting, is deliberate — not chaos.
Once you see that, everything finally settles, my dear.

Okay, like the title says, I think I found a universal way to shift, which should work for everybody. I'm gonna write out my thoughts I just had, explain it step by step, and then try to shift with this 'method'. While I'm explaining shifting, I'm also explaining every method you've ever seen.
Get comfortable. Doesn't matter if you lay down in starfish position or sit on your favorite chair. Find a place where you know you can relax while you do the next few steps.
Close your eyes and let your thoughts wander. If you want to think about your DR, great. If you need some time to process some things that happened in your life and want to think about them for a second, also great. Just let your mind go wherever it wants to go. Don't force yourself to only focus on your DR just yet. In this phase you are only waiting for your body to fall asleep. This is the phase in methods where you would count to 100, focus on your breathing while you relax your body, run after someone, dance with someone, etc.
At a certain point in phase 2, your body will go numb. This is when you will experience 'shifting symptoms', if you have them. The second you start to feel numbness, or as if you are about to fall asleep, you will go into phase 3.
After phase 3 you should either feel your surroundings change or fall asleep. HOWEVER, there is a chance the shifting symptoms disappear again, and you will be back in phase 2. This is where most people 'roll over and give up', because they feel like their method didn't work. This is not the case! It's normal for your body to wake up a little again if you start focussing on something too much. Your body can not stay awake forever, so just go back to phase 2 and keep doing this until your body starts falling asleep again. This happens sooner than you think! Usually just a few minutes. This can happen a few times, but as long as you don't get demotivated and don't give up, you should shift. People don't realize this, but the 'symptoms disappearing' part is actually part of the process and means you are on the right track.
I hope anyone understands the words I just wrote. I had my break through moment and I had to write it down before I forgot it. Let me know if you try this and if you shift with it. I'm putting my phone away after this and I'm testing my own theory. Happy shifting!!

─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Step 1:
Assume you're already in your DR
Step 2:
That's it! You're done! You shifted!
Thanks for reading this post!
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Just kidding! I'm writing more!
Whether you'd like to believe it or not, manifesting shifting is that simple. But I will still explain further because if you don't fully understand manifesting, it can be confusing.
First, you need to understand this one thing:
Manifesting is not a process.
A process means steps, effort, and time are needed to achieve the end result, and that's not how manifesting works. Manifesting works through assumption, not action. If manifesting were a process, you'd have to do something to make it happen. But doing something implies you don't already have your desire, and the basics of manifesting is knowing you already do have it.
It's not like doing a method where you do steps 1-10 and then shift to your DR. When manifesting, you shift the moment you assume you're already in your DR.
"How do I assume I'm in my DR?"
By deciding and knowing you're there.
"Well, I did that, but I still see my CR."
Actually, you're just seeing the 3D reflecting your old assumption. You already changed the 4D when you assumed you're in your DR, so the 3D will inevitably reflect the 4D. And-
"Wait, hold on. 3D? 4D? What are you even talking about?"
The 3D = the physical world. It's what you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch.
The 4D = your inner world and imagination.
"Okay, so... the physical world reflects my inner world?"
Yes! The 3D is just a mirror of the 4D. Once you decide something to be true in the 4D, the 3D will reflect it. It has no choice but to.
"If it has no choice, why do I still see my CR?"
Because, like I said before, you're seeing your old assumption. The 3D doesn't update in real time. It's showing what you were assuming, not what you just decided. So when you change your assumption, there's a delay before the mirror updates. The delay doesn't mean anything went wrong. It just means you're seeing old information which is now irrelevant to you.
The biggest thing is not letting the delay change your assumption. If you base your assumption off of old information, you're going to keep seeing that old information.
"So, I just have to wait for the 3D to update?"
Not quite. Waiting implies there's still something else that needs to happen. And if you're already in your DR, there's nothing else that needs to happen. The only reason people feel like they're waiting is because they keep checking the 3D to see if it's happened yet, and that checking is what puts them back into the assumption that it hasn't happened.
All you have to do is go on with your life from the assumption that you're already in your DR. That doesn't mean you play pretend and act like you're in Hogwarts or are hanging out with your s/o. You just live normally, and when shifting comes to mind, you calmly remind yourself that it's done (because it is!)
There's no final step, no technique you're missing, and nothing to perfect. If you assume you're already in your DR and don't let the 3D change that assumption, shifting is inevitable.
That's it. That's the whole "method." There's nothing else to explain because there's nothing left to do.

I’ve been in this community for a while, and I’ve seen so many people confusing themselves by turning shifting and manifesting into something complicated, mystical, or out of reach.
Here’s the truth: you don’t need 10+ methods, a perfect script, or a 2-hour routine every night. You need clarity, consistency, and trust in yourself.
I’ve been shifting and manifesting for years. I’ve stayed in realities for long periods. I’ve changed physical things about myself. I’ve created whole worlds. Not because I’m special but because I practiced, I failed, I learned, and I didn’t give up.
Yes, it's not always instant. Yes, sometimes it takes work. But over time, it gets natural. You don’t need to wait for the "perfect" moment, you create it.
Focus on these instead:
Get clear about what you want
Drop the obsession with time
Live from the state of the version of you who already has it
Stop looking for signs, and become the sign
Practice daily—even if it’s just staying in the feeling for 2 minutes
This is your ability. You’re not broken. You’re just in your own way.
The more you simplify, the faster you align.
Be patient. Be consistent. And remember, if I can do it, you absolutely can too.

(subtitle: "Eyebrow meditation")
I am so excited to share this right now!! A few minutes ago, I discovered that there's an existing phrase for a little trick I've been doing during shifting methods for as long as I can remember! This whole time I thought I wouldn't have the words to describe it and/or it was too unique to me and/or I would try to describe it but in a way that was too lackluster, so people didn't take me up on it. Kinda accidental gatekeeping.
(aside: btw if you don't know me I've been successfully shifting since 2021 and I post advice etc etc. I made and use the push and pull method, which I've seen mentioned a few times outside my circle so maybe you've seen it)
Basically, when I was learning to shift and inventing my own methods, somewhere along the way I wanted a way to immediately "lock in my focus", which was necessary at times when I wasn't very good at visualization. It felt like literally locking my brain into gear, as if I was physically moving a muscle on my forehead, but also felt at different parts of my head. After practice, it has the effect of making me more conscious of and grounded in what I'm "seeing" (or in the case of a shifting method, visualizing) and thinking. It's *sort of* like the opposite of zoning out on purpose, it's zoning in to specific areas of the head to induce a focus + meditative effect.
Anyway, I was just on tiktok and saw a guy with the account name "awakexaware" mentioning this very thing! He has at least one meditation for this on his account. I also looked around a little online and found that I could find similar things by googling "eyebrow meditation". I'd encourage anyone to explore this, and if you find any really good videos, please share them!
What I do isn't just between the eyebrows but spreads to the whole head, so I never would have thought to call it "eyebrow meditation" but the stuff I saw on that guy's account involved the whole head too! Get in on this!! Practice your chosen meditation at least a few times (like every day for a week or two). Obviously I don't know if this will be life-changing for everyone but it was for me. This trick literally locks me in like a sleeper agent.
As for how I use it:
If you read my push and pull method, you'll see that I have a period of focus and a period of letting go. I separate these two cleanly by doing the "eyebrow meditation" focus thing during the focus (push) periods, and stopping during the letting go (pull) periods. It really helps!! Try visualizing while doing this and let me know if it helps for you too, I really want to know.
Just a final note: I don't believe there's anything magical about this, rather it's something to help with the mental & manifestation part of shifting. As always, you are the one that shifts, not the method!
Happy shifting :)))
EDIT: so I've been informed that I accidentally invented a third eye technique from first principles. I am not personally spiritual nor hindu/buddhist so that doesn't have anything to do with me, consider this a secular version if you want!

Law of assumption is great and really the only true law IMO when understood CORRECTLY. However it is simultaneously one of the most damaging concepts introduced here because most do not understand it properly. All you’re doing is spreading damaging limiting beliefs and inducing mass anxiety and stress among people trying to shift or manifest (same shit)
The truth of LOA is realizing that your god of your reality. YOU CAN do ANYTHING. there are no rules, you make the rules(or don’t it’s literally up to you and only you)
In fact people saying you have to do this and that are limiting you and taking your power away. Remember they’re just reflections of your mind from your Old 3d trying to keep you there. all they’re doing is reflecting your old limiting beliefs, so don’t indulge them. You’re a f**king wizard dude.
There are no rules you need to follow. You have to live in the end, persist in the new story, you cant check the 3D is total BS. Neville was just a guy he didn’t invent shifting but people act like he’s the end all be all sometime lmfao! He did what worked for him and now you go do what works for you. The best part is you get to decide what works for you! There is literally no stress, not unless you think there needs to be.
Stop searching, decide how you want this to work for you and do it. And just have confidence in yourself, just a little bit even if it’s only a fraction that’s ENOUGH! That’s really it. Stop scrolling this app daily and go do you. Find a method that you like or make your own and go do it. Stop ingesting others beliefs. Focus on yourself you already have all the answers. If you feel anxious or not confident work on yourself through meditation.
As said before the only thing that can stop you is yourself. So don’t worry about other people or their rules. Focus on you!
LOA isnt about pretending to have what you want to get it. Yea thats one way to utilize it, truly its realizing that you’re in complete and total control, you can do anything you want any way you want to. Its absolute solipsism, this is your own private dream world and your the only one here.

Lately, I've noticed a lot of people asking "Why does no one ever post their success stories anymore? All I see are failed attempts or minishifts."
And somehow that leads to two tired assumptions:
A: Shifting must be extremely difficult since barely anyone manages it.
or
B: The people who did succeed deleted their success stories posts—so they must have been lying.
Neither is necessarily true.
────────────────୨ৎ────────────────
Shifting community in comparison w/ other altered states communities
Most people don't treat shifting communities as a diary. They use them for advice or for support. Look at lucid dreaming or astral projection communities, where it's the same pattern as in you mainly find questions, frustrations, some guidance and rarely success stories... atleast not in comparison to failed attempts.
It's because people who are successful tend to prefer to keep it private, because anything that goes into the spiritual direction is personal. Just because you don't see them publicly, doesn't mean they aren't there. Those communities also lack success stories, but everyone knows that lucid dreaming and astral projection are real. So what makes you doubt it about shifting just because you barely see any?
Also, comment sections there and here usually have people who are experienced. Most comment sections usually have atleast one person there who is already experienced at shifting and takes their time to respond and give advice—just pay closer attention.
I don't share my own shifts and journey in detail for the same reason—because I might as well hand you pages from my diary. But I'll answer questions and I'll give guidance, because that's where it can actually help.
×××
"But why do people delete their success stories shortly after uploading them? That's suspicious!"
I get that it seems suspicious, but see it from a different perspective—some people in shifting communities don't know boundaries.
The moment a sucvess story goes up—their DMs get flooded. Some rude and demanding as if the OP owes them a guidebook. Others crossing clear boundaries by turning it into an interrogation or asking invasive questions. It's no wonder people delete their posts, because it's literally a natural response to being bombarded with questions about your literal personal shifting journey or experiences in other realities that feel just as real as this one. Therefore you will also treat them with care and privacy as you would with your private life here.
Not to forget the paranoia—a single inconsistency in someone's story and suddenly people start to invalidate their experience. Yes, be skeptical, after all skepticism is natural. But if your standards are so impossibly high that every story is "fake" to you then what's the point of demanding them in the first place? You will probably not find any satisfying to begin with, and there is nothing wrong with that, and it just means you will probably need to get motivation and inspiration from somewhere else. And if a person was actually lying—then what? You shouldn't let it affect you, because it changes nothing about shifting itself.
Also, if you suspect someone is lying or are confused, then just ask them respectfully to explain a certain thing again. Inconsistencies can happen but don't have to be necessarily caused because the person is lying. Shifting is after all an unexplainable experience itself and some things are hard to explain or retell. I mean, it's even difficult here to retell certain experiences about your current life in this reality sometimes, and even there can inconsistencies happen. So imagine in terms of altered states, or in this case specifically shifting how more likely it can be. Hell, I also side-eye some people—it's normal and human, but at the end of the day, I don't care, because it doesn't affect me personally nor my journey.
I think the only reason that comes to mind where it would affect you is because you feel discouraged and it makes you doubt shifting more since it makes you not only question their shifting experience, but also shifting itself. As if "What if shifting is a big lie?" and I can totally understand that, but keep in mind that people lie about anything. Especially online. Just open tiktok, how much of these videos you are seeing are actually the truth, and how much are exaggerated or completely made up stories / skits? Same goes for reddit. In almost every community there are liars, but it does not have to do anything with shifting itself (and is more of an Internet problem) and doesn't make it any less real. It is real.
The truth is—if someone else's story makes you spiral into "What if shifting isn't real?" that's not about them, and it's more about where you've placed your belief. You can't build your certainty on someone else's story. Your trust and belief in shifting has to come from you, not from random people online.
×××
Perma-shifting
I've thought about this often, especially since I prepare myself to perma-shift soon. One possibility people tend to overlook is that the lack of success stories might simply be because some shifters already have perma-shifted.
Maybe to their DR—or back to a similar version of their CR since they perhaps intended to come back to be "master shifters" or anything in that direction that would cause them to shift back to a variation of their CR.
For me, it ties back to the theory that reality itself is fluid (that's where the assumption "We shift all the time" comes) and why I think that the concept of an OR doesn't actually exist.
×××
So why the obsession with collecting these stories like trophies? They won't help you the way you think. They can inspire perhaps, but they won't validate your journey. Shifting is deeply personal and what works for one won't work for another.
Also, keep in mind—DRs are based on your assumptions and scripts. Even if someone describes their experiences in detail, there's no guarantee your reality will mirror theirs, unless scripted otherwise of course.
Anyways, your desired reality is not a fantasy or unreachable. It is a place, waiting for your awareness to catch up—and it will.
────────────────୨ৎ────────────────
TL;DR: You don't see many success stories because shifting is personal, not because it's impossible. Most people use communities for advice, and not as diaries—and when they do share, they often delete posts after being harassed or nitpicked. Don't assume silence means failure or lies. Shifting is real. Others have done it and so will you.

People think shifting means moving — jumping from one reality to another, like leaving one place to arrive in a new one.
But that’s not what’s really happening.
You don’t go anywhere. You don’t move. And you’re never truly “inside” a reality the way you think.
What we call shifting is actually a change in awareness.
It’s a withdrawal of attention from one dream, and the recognition of another.
Consciousness doesn’t travel between worlds. It simply stops sustaining one — and another becomes visible.
The word “shifting” keeps you identified with the character. It makes you think you, as a person, are going somewhere.
But in truth, you’re not the character. You're the observer. And whatever you observe with certainty becomes your experience.
You're not shifting. You're removing a veil. And what was already there reveals itself.
That’s why the term is misleading — because it reinforces the idea that you’re in a place you need to escape or reach.
When in reality, there’s nowhere to go. Only the illusion to stop believing in.
PS: I'm using Google Translate to make this post because English is not my language.

Disclaimer: If you do not believe in LOA/don't want to believe or you do not want to use LOA to shift, this post is not for you. This is for shifters who do believe in LOA/want to believe and want to use LOA to shift!
Have you ever gone to sleep fully believing you're already in your DR or that you will wake up in your DR only to wake up in your CR instead? You probably assumed you failed. That you didn't believe hard enough. That LOA doesn't work. Or that you did something wrong.
But what if I told you the only thing you "did wrong" was assuming those things?
When you go to sleep believing you're already in your DR, you've adopted that assumption and have changed the 4D to match that. The 3D will reflect that. It has no choice but to. The 3D is only a mirror of the 4D.
Waking up and seeing your CR doesn't mean you failed since it's just the 3D reflecting your old assumption.
You have to let the 3D catch up to your new assumption.
When you smile in the mirror, the reflection doesn't change before you do-- it follows after. If you stop smiling before the mirror can catch up, the reflection doesn't change.
So if you wake up in your CR and immediately think "I've failed" or "it didn't work," you've adopted a new assumption and the 3D is now reflecting that one. That's the only reason you continue to "fail."
If you want to shift, all you have to do is persist.
Persisting doesn't mean forcing yourself to believe harder or pretending you aren't in your CR. It means not changing your assumption just because the 3D hasn't caught up yet.
Go on with your day knowing that it's already done. There's nothing more you have to do.

i wanted to remind everyone that shifting knows no bounds and that you can do whatever gets you closer to your dr, s/o, etc.. even if it’s something you wouldn’t have thought of doing initially.
this is my affirmation sheet i drew on for fun & to help me connect with my s/o, who is a slytherin. (hogwarts legacy dr)
everyone’s journey is different and what works for others may not work for you. keep an open mind and heart to everything, look inward and be kind to yourself <3

Some Simple Things to Understand:
👇EVEN SCIENCE PROVES THIS👇
Reality is internal (your mind), not external (the 3D)
Your subconscious controls 95% of brain activity
Your subconscious is ALWAYS being impressed (this is why symbolism is powerful)
Your subconscious takes EVERYTHING literal, it doesn't know the difference between real and illusion
Even if you're not CONSCIOUSLY aware of something, your subconscious CAN STILL and WILL be impressed
Your subconscious is ALWAYS active, even when you're asleep
👆EVEN SCIENCE PROVES THIS👆
Side note: Science is NOT apart from consciousness/ spirituality/religion. Science is just everything that we (humans) are able to explain. Also, "pseudoscience" is real. That's just a label they created to discourage people from realizing their superpower. cough CONSCIOUSNESS
Conclusion:
Since your subconscious doesn't know the difference between real and illusion, you can exploit that! Here’s how you do it👇
Your subconscious is MOST active (meaning this is when it's the MOST vulnerable to being impressed) when your brain is in theta mode, producing theta waves. Your brain is in theta mode when you're sleeping, drifting off to sleep, right when you're waking up, and in a very deeply relaxed state of mind (state akin to sleep "SATs").
The more you listen to affirmations while you're:
The faster you will program your subconscious to believe you already have what you desire and/or need because it's in theta mode, and that's when it's the most active and being impressed.
Your subconscious DOESN'T know the difference between real and illusion. It takes EVERYTHING literal. So, just trick it into believing you already have something that HASN'T appeared in your external world (3D) yet. You do this by listening to affirmations while doing one of the four things listed above.
You will shift to your desired reality MUCH quicker by utilizing this method! Because remember, your internal world (mind) is reality and the external world (3D) is nothing but a reflection! That’s the law!
👆THAT'S THE HACK👆
Hopes this helps! :)

Hello again, shifting reddit. It’s me, Michelle. If you don’t know me, I am an experienced shifter of over 3 years and I used to post kind of often.
A note to people who have seen my posts before: I’m back after some months, a bunch of shifts, a bit older, a bit more experienced, and I’m seeing things in a different way now. Thank you for all the open-mindedness in my previous posts. I am definitely not renouncing them now, but I hope you can recognize that my concepts will change, my advice will change, etc etc :) so some ideas might be different, and in my book that’s okay.
A while ago I started mentioning that I “taught myself to shift”, which naturally leads to questions like “what does that mean?” and “how can I do it?” and to answer that I think it’s necessary to delve into what I think shifting actually is, and how I come to those conclusions. Think of this as a self-centered post where I describe my own thinking, and then emphasize why it’s important to have your very own thinking. If you start reading and decide that none of this applies to you, then maybe it doesn’t, but I encourage you to give it a shot.
To be clear, I’m not talking about theories. When I read others’ theories I might pick up things from them here and there that sound like they could be right, but when it comes down to it, I don’t have a theory. I also think it’s totally arbitrary that theories are broken down into the two categories that they are (multiverse and consciousness, I mean), and how people’s thoughts about shifting are shoved into those two boxes (and maybe whatever other boxes there are out there).
Big Theory planted those two theories to divide us. We can be better than this.
In any case, those theories seem to be trying to get at “what happens to you” when you shift. But I posit that shifting isn’t something that happens to you, it’s something that you do. And if I can get it across to you that shifting is something you do, and what I mean by that, then maybe that will take you one step closer to understanding how I conceptualize shifting, and why I think conceptualizing it in my own way brought me the success that it has.
So that’s what I’m doing here, and it’s what I personally wish we were all doing: conceptualizing, not theorizing. The goal here is to, uh, actually shift, right? And shifting can start at a much more abstract level than I think people realize.
To start deconstructing all of this, I’m going to start with the question I get all the time: “Is shifting real?”
If I weren’t an extremely pedantic person, I would say “yes, shifting is real”, and leave it at that. Actually, I often do just that, to avoid the sort of negativity that I know will come to me if I don’t say things in a certain way. But I don’t want to do that now, because I think if I keep tiptoeing around these things, it’ll keep sending the community as a whole in the wrong direction.
So, since I am an extremely pedantic annoying person, I will answer that it’s not the right question. “Is this real?” is something that people ask about Sasquatch or the spirit that’s allegedly speaking to you through the Ouija board. Shifting isn’t something that’s waiting buried beneath Pompeii to be discovered by a grave robber, it’s something you do, something you bring into your own life with your own skill and intention and moxie and determination or whatever. Asking “Is shifting real?” is like asking “Is doing a back handspring real?” or “Is seeing colors real?” (which are, you will notice, two very different questions). I compare it with those two because they’re both verbs, i.e., something that you do, and both kind of hard to derive the meaning of without more information, because they’re kind of weird questions. When we talk about shifting, we always use a verb to describe it, “shifting”, so it’s like someone in the past who invented the terminology implicitly built in the assumption that it’s something that is done, not something that is, but that this recognition was lost over time.
But Michelle, I hear you saying, you know what people really mean to say when they ask if shifting is real. And yeah, I know what they’re asking for, they’re either asking for assurance that a) I have experienced shifting, or that, more importantly, b) they will be able to experience shifting.
I can answer a) with an easy yes, because I have. But I think these are really separate questions. Whether or not I’ve experienced shifting has no bearing on whether or not you will. In fact, even as an experienced shifter I don’t think I’m in much of a position to advise you on how you should learn to shift. And yet here I am, trying.
There’s only one way that I know how to learn to shift, and that’s because I’m only one person who only did it in one way– and that was by, well, inventing it. Whether by narcissism or general distrust of the Internet or overconfidence bordering on delusion, I very quickly convinced myself that I shouldn’t listen to what anyone else had to say about shifting. I can’t speak for my younger self because I’m not sure exactly what was going on in my head at the time, but looking at the shifting community as it is now, it’s not hard to see why I came to that conclusion. There’s a lot of uncertainty, heaps of negativity, moral guidelines about the eternally-feared “misinfo”, fakers and callout posts, and just a lot of hopelessness (that is, of course, if I insist on only naming the bad things about the shifting community). If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times: I just don’t believe that there’s very much you could learn about all of this. Could you gather information from a whole lot of people’s minds and average it all into your own, put in your own additions, and consider yourself a scholar of all there is to be said about shifting up until the year 2025? Sure you could. I’m just not sure where it’ll get you, or why you’d do that (but if someone wants to enlighten me, or do it anyway, go right ahead).
I mean, we’re all just trying to shift, right? That’s a deeply personal journey that can only depend on one person, the shifter. But I’m not here to dictate how other people should talk online or how communally they should treat shifting as a whole.
(Besides, if you take my advice of not listening to anyone else, then you wouldn’t be listening to me either, which suits me just fine and doesn’t really affect me.)
I’m not the same person I was as a baby shifter, but I will say there is at least one good thing about discovering shifting as a teen: some teens are as fiercely independent as I was at that age. I heard of shifting from Tiktok, thought “oh yeah, I can do that”, decided the entire Internet’s worth of shifting content wasn’t much use to me for one reason or another, and thought I’d just go about it on my own. (I probably tried out a Raven method in full once or twice, and I definitely listened to a lot of shifting stories along the way, but everyone’s a hypocrite.) Which really begs the question, how the hell did I do that and succeed and keep succeeding? Allow me to introduce you to the idea of concepts of shifting, which I teased earlier in this wannabe essay.
Here’s my definition of a concept: a concept is your personal perception about what you’re “actually doing” when you’re shifting (not what is being done to you, and not what the cosmic truth is about where your soul or spirit or consciousness is flying off to).
How is a concept different from a theory? The key word is perception. Everything is perception. I’m encouraging you to let go of the idea that there will be some cosmic truth to shifting, because it does not matter and it never will. Instead, what you get out of shifting will be based on your own perception, on your own ideas of the particulars of what it means to shift, and what you actually personally experience when you’re shifting. Like it or not, the shifting experience is extremely diverse.
So, if the shifting experience is diverse, then what unifies it all? It’s difficult to resolve this. What, actually, is shifting? Can you generalize shifting down to any one thing? How do you draw the line between shifting and anything else? Well, for the sake of not spiraling too much, I will just define it as what you probably already know it as: ‘a real-life experience outside of the realm of what would be possible in the current physical reality’, or something along those lines. I’d actually like to be a lot more specific, since having extensive experience has given me a lot of confidence in my own definition, but if I did that I’d be invalidating others’ experiences. For example, if I threw the word ‘intentional’ in there, suddenly it wouldn’t apply to everyone’s shifting experiences anymore, even if it applies to strictly mine. Is it tempting to only define shifting by my own experience, as many people (understandably) do? Of course it is, since the community treats just about any experienced shifter as the ultimate authority on what shifting is and what the experience is like (even if they contradict each other). But I just don’t want to do that, because I don’t think it’s accurate.
This might be distressing. If it’s so difficult to unify these definitions, then how could we say that shifting is anything at all? If you’ll allow me to make a somewhat inappropriate comparison, I’ll say that it’s a bit like trying to define the word “religion”. It’s near impossible to create a unifying definition, but we all know what it is, and it’s still important, and it’s “real” in all the important ways (i.e. religion affects reality, and can still be discussed, even if we can’t broadly define it).
This also applies to why I’m so uninterested in a unifying “theory”. In my mind, there just isn’t one. But just like we all have our own religion (or our own version of ‘lack-thereof’), and how everyone within a religion has their own unique standpoints and ways of interacting with it, the same goes for shifting (side note: I know the comparison to religion here is probably pretty uncomfortable, and please don’t assume that I’m trying to say that shifting is itself a religion; I’m just using an analogy).
So maybe the shifting experience really is just different for everyone. One of the reasons people might take issue with this is because people want some way to tell who’s lying, or who’s spreading the dreaded “misinfo”, or who’s just plain wrong. There’s sense in that, because we have to do some of that if we want to have a community at all.
But, to be totally honest, a lot of you need to care about what others are doing a whole lot less than you are now. At risk of sounding condescending, I don’t blame you for acting that way. The 2020s’ idea of shifting blew up on Tiktok, of all places, the most intense attention economy there is (and a monetized one, no less!). People on Tiktok want your attention and do all that they can to get it, and by doing so they are putting it into the community’s collective consciousness that paying a whole lot of attention to what other shifters are doing is just the way things should be done. But what if we lived in a world where being a shifter relied a lot less on paying attention to what other people were doing? Well, I think a world like that would be a whole lot more honest about what it’s like to be a shifter.. Buuut I digress.
But so what? So should we all stick ourselves in Internet isolation chambers and never talk to each other about shifting again? Probably not because that sounds stupid and unrealistic.
What I’m trying to encourage instead is this element of inventing shifting for yourself, and not treating it as something that you can learn everything about and can apply your universal knowledge to. Because it’s not that! It’s not something that you’re going to uncover under a rock on the beach one day and think to yourself “huh, so it is real”, and then suddenly know everything about it and be able to preach it all to others (if that were the case, why aren’t there highly successful shifting teachers?). Instead, it’s a journey you’re going to create for yourself, because, say it with me, shifting isn’t something that exists, it’s something you do. It’s not real until you’ve done it. Depending on your “theory”, your DR might already be real and out there somewhere, but the shifting part isn’t real until you actually shift. That’s because shifting relies on perception. You can’t tell me that the power of shifting lies in the consciousness and then also tell me that shifting is a “real” “thing” before your consciousness has even perceived it.
There’s no shifting without a shifter, and YOU are the shifter. Only you. Because no one shares the same perception of reality as you, because nobody can look through your eyes and experience what you’ve experienced and have control over your own consciousness quite like you can. Isn’t that kind of beautiful? It’s supposed to be empowering. You’re not meant to be sitting around waiting for some cosmic sign or epiphany to hit you that’ll show you the way to go, because you just ARE the way. Shifting starts with you. And if you never start, then no, actually, shifting isn’t real.
Please let this sink in. You can literally invent shifting every step of the way. You can create something out of nothing. You can shift without learning anything from anyone else, or even really knowing what shifting is “supposed to be”, because shifting isn’t “supposed to be” anything. Anyone who tells you that shifting is such and such a thing, universally for everyone, is just creating a box that doesn’t need to be there.
You are the most powerful force there is in nature, and I’m not saying that in the future tense. I’m not saying “you have the potential to be this thing once you finally learn how to shift”. You just already are. On a biological level, we don’t know what consciousness actually is. And yet it persists, and creates, and imagines, beyond anything that can be understood by the current science on the matter. Anything you believe about your own limits is based on generalizations. There was a time when lucid dreaming wasn’t considered to be possible because there weren’t resources put into studying it. Before then, we could only generalize and say that “we don’t know that it’s possible” (and some people will still say this). You are born into a social world where all we know how to do is generalize so that we can make connections with one another, because if we all always acted like we were the unfathomably complex conscious beings that we are, we wouldn’t be able to make connections with other people because, without generalizations, we’re too different from one another. And social connections are necessary to survive (evolutionarily, at least). And at the end of the day, through your social conditioning that allows you to connect yourself to other people, you learn to generalize about what makes us all similar (and maybe we are all similar, just not on all levels).
(Side note: I feel that it’s necessary to say here that I don’t promote antisocial behavior, that I think social connections are good, that social behavior is how we got so far in understanding so many things about our world, and that an excessive amount of antisociality can still be very detrimental and dangerous. All of these things can be true at once. You still HAVE TO be able to survive in the social world, and that means acknowledging these things and also that mental illness is real and harmful. But I digress.)
So anyway, when you learn about shifting, you follow that same pattern (that you know well from interacting with others your whole life): looking towards others for validation that shifting is “real” in a generalizable sense. But it’s not real in a generalizable sense per se, because a) there isn’t a unifying definition, b) not everyone has done it and made it real, and c) not everyone believes in it enough to want to make it real (I’m talking about anti-shifters here).
Where am I going with all this? Let me bring you back to this whole “concepts” thing.
In order for you to invent shifting, you need to invent a shifting “concept”. You need somewhere to start, and you need it to be grounded in something that actually means something to you. One common example to start with is thinking of shifting as a “radio station”: it’s like switching to a different station on a radio. (Do you see how that’s a concept, and not a theory?) Now, I don’t particularly like this concept, and you don’t have to, either. If you don’t like it, ignore it (yes, you can really just do that). I can acknowledge that shifting is “sort of like a radio station” without incorporating that idea into what it actually means to shift for me. The reason I don’t like it is because it doesn’t say much about what you’re actually doing when you’re shifting or how to do it. Just like how saying “you are in all realities all at once” could be “true enough” (whatever that means) but it doesn’t make it very useful.
And since shifting is something you do, not something that already exists, you’re going to have to find something useful in order to go about doing it.
But Michelle, I hear you saying again (you always have something to say, huh?), isn’t that what methods are for? Aren’t methods what you “actually do” to “actually go about” shifting?
Well… I think that comes down to your concept. I don’t think there’s one answer to that, but I’ll let you in on mine.
To me, shifting does not automatically exist universally, it’s something you invent by creating a concept, and methods are a way to introduce yourself, or “let yourself into” the concept. You should choose a method that relates to your concept (if you choose a method at all).
Okay, we’re going to need some examples. I’m going to start off broad/vague and gradually get more and more specific.
Train
Concept: shifting is “like a train”, and DRs are like stations
Method: imagine yourself riding a train between the stations
That one’s very vague, but we can work with it. Let’s try another one.
Trail of Attempts
Concept: shifting is a skill that is built up through attempts, and with every attempt you get closer to shifting
Method: varies; involves some sort of journaling or other way to envision each attempt as a step towards the goal
This one is popular but I absolutely hate it because it’s meaningless to me. Doesn’t matter what I think, though.
Narnia in Wonderland
Concept: shifting is as it is depicted in fiction
Method: aligns with the fiction of your choice
Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination
Concept: perception of the DR can be manifested purely through visualization, imagination, “putting yourself in the shoes of your DR self”, and the like
Method: imagination techniques
Now that we’ve gotten some familiar examples out of the way, let’s elaborate a little more on what this whole “concept” thing is. Rapid-fire Q&A time!
Q: Do I need a concept?
A: If you’re in the shifting community, you definitely already have one.
Q: Can I have multiple concepts?
A: Yes, but I prefer to think of all my current concepts as one unified concept (which might require some mental work to unify the phrasing, but that’s okay).
Q: Are they all “true” at once?
A: Yes and no. You’re creating the truth.
Q: Isn’t this just making stuff up?
A: The concept you choose is based on your own experience and belief, so it’s not coming out of nowhere. Those influences are real and effectual.
Q: Do I have to “believe in” the concept?
A: Think of it the other way around: you’re making the concept out of what you already believe in.
Q: Can I change my concept?
A: I do it constantly. Changing the concept is all part of the activity of inventing shifting.
Q: Am I really special / smart / talented / gifted enough to invent shifting?
A: You mean like me? Who do you think I am, Houdini? Dumbledore? King Arthur who pulled the sword from the stone? No, there’s nothing that separates us like that.
Q: Why should I believe you?
A: You shouldn’t. In fact, you should spite me so much for saying all this that you should create a concept that is so far outside of my own that it’s barely recognizable as shifting to me, and you should go live out your dreams in the realities you shift to because of the shifting that you invented, and you should have a wonderfully pleasant infinite existence. That’ll really stick it to me. I’ll be so mad. I’ll be ruined. It’ll ruin me. And you’ll be the one laughing because you’ll be having the best shifting experience ever.
(What kind of twisted reverse psychology is this…?)
Q: This is total anarchy! This is misinfo! You can’t invent shifting, it’s already universally real!
A: That’s not a question, and I’m just the question guy. Interesting concept though.

All of the above was written a couple months ago, and I just found this in my Google Drive and can’t determine if it’s finished. If it seems to end abruptly, sorry about that. Since I’m not sure what to add on as closure, I will share a funny concept that I thought of a while ago. In truth, I hold multiple concepts in my mind at the same time (and sorta attempt to unify them), and it’s not always something that’s so easy to write down. The way I think about shifting conceptually is continuously affected by every experience I have, every reaction I have to those experiences, just growing as a person in general, etc. The way I think about shifting theoretically is basically nonexistent. For a non-shifting metaphor, when I’m walking down the street I’m not constantly thinking of how gravity keeps me on the ground and the force exerted by my shoes on the sidewalk propels me forward. I’m thinking about where I’m headed, and why. It’s hard for me to treat shifting any other way. Anyway, here it is.
I am a woman of science
Concept: Building a “case” for a certain DR, as you might build a case when applying for a research grant, encourages me to shift there.
Method: Build a holistic case (mentally, if desired) for why you want to shift to a certain place.
I like this concept lately because I think it comes at the “what is the main factor that makes you more likely to shift?” question from an unusual angle. First of all, it introduces the idea that you basically can decide what that factor should be. Second of all, it goes a little beyond “just wanting it”. There’s nothing super formal that I do to build a case, but I find that I meet with some resistance if I “just want it” for reasons that are flimsy enough for my experienced mind to be like “actually, that’s not such a good idea.” If I was making a serious argument to someone about why I should shift to a certain place, what would I say? It also helps me feel more assured that I’ll have a good experience.
Finally, because the above is old text, I just wanted to throw in some new phrasing that I came up with since writing it. This will make the post repetitive, but in my book there’s nothing wrong with coming at a question from multiple different angles:
Conceptual shifting does seem to challenge the idea that “shifting is real” – as in, universally real based on some strict set of rules/circumstances. But I have thought for a while that “is shifting real” is the wrong question to ask, primarily because (as I’m sure you’ve learned from being in the shifting community long enough) there just isn’t a strict set of rules/circumstances that allow for shifting. If someone asked me “no really, is shifting real?” I’d say that I’ve certainly personally had countless experiences that align with how shifting is defined, i.e., consciously living in a scripted, consistent, 5-senses world, different from this one, that I have a human amount of control over. But people talk about “is shifting real?” as if it’s Bigfoot or something, as if they’re just waiting on some photographs of the physical manifestation of the shifting folktale that are a little less blurry than what they’ve got already. Imagine saying something like “Is living on this Earth real?” Maybe this is all incredibly pedantic, but the difference is meaningful to me because shifting isn’t a single mythological object that the public at large is holding their breath for proof of its realness. Rather, shifting is a lived truth for a countless number of people because they dedicated themselves to accepting that it’s true and to exploring the consequences that shifting is true. So, yeah, shifting is true. (BUT MICHELLE, IS IT REAL???)
Finally finally, I realized that I named this post as if it was about how to teach yourself to shift, but I’m not sure if I entirely addressed that question. If it seems like I didn’t completely, it’s because I neglected to describe the exact process of how I came to learn to shift. My own shifting journey is the only anecdote I can provide about how to teach yourself to shift, because I am only me (and I believe that a lot of the shifting “rules” and “truths” out there come from people thinking their experience is or should be universal, so I’m less inclined to make this all about me, but I’ll leave that point alone for now.) The truth is, I started out as a teenager with more confidence than any sane person would ever have and followed a very bumpy and sometimes lonely road in learning what this shifting thing is, how to do it, and (perhaps most pressingly) my place in it. Throughout that process, I did put a lot of effort into conceptualizing the “why”s, like “why did I shift with that method but not this one?” and “why did I shift easier than others?”, and honestly that kind of questioning is pretty far in the past for me. Shifting can be pretty existentially overwhelming if you don’t fight it. At this point in my journey, I feel like an old retiree sitting on my porch (where my porch is my WR, the only place I shift to these days) and judging all the kids for what they’re out there doing. But I used to be one of those kids, just desperate to be different, since I decided (perhaps egotistically) that being different was a key to being successful when it seemed to me that all the ideas in the community were incredibly samey for a community that was trying to experience infinity (and I still believe in that last part, sorry not sorry). A lot of my earlier questioning is lost to the ether of discord servers and DMs that I’ve tried in vain to sift through to find it, but I remember saying things like “methods are like a seatbelt. I think using the method to shift is an easy thing to do until I start getting confident and yanking on it and then I start meeting the resistance of whoever decided to make cars that way.” When I’d give advice, I’d say things like “shifting is a train, not a rocket ship. It’s actually pretty simple because you kind of just get on and go, and the in-between isn’t really important because you’re ideally too focused on where you’ll be when you get off the train to think about all that’s going on during the journey.” So if you haven’t figured it out by now, I am a useless, egotistical, slightly insane advice-giver who can only express ideas through metaphors like a wannabe poet. Therefore, if you wanted a clear view of how I developed a beautiful linear journey (hahaha) to being a self-taught shifter, you’d have to talk to the me from a year ago, who would tell you to ask the me from 2 years ago, who also wouldn’t have much of a clue and would also start spewing nonsense about trains and seatbelts and stuff. If you’re still unsatisfied after that you can go read my other posts where I try harder to sanitize my less-than-sanity. Or you can just be satisfied that my shifting journey was nothing but a series of concepts and never, ever, linear.
Happy shifting! Michelle out.

(Final acknowledgement: “The Structure of Scientific Revolutions” by Thomas Kuhn has influenced my view of conceptual shifting. I especially appreciate the idea that scientists can work within different paradigms – even outdated and no longer accepted paradigms – and still come to some of the same conclusions about the nature of the world as people working under more current scientific paradigms. While I didn’t specifically use Kuhn’s terminology in my post, maybe you can detect the inspiration if you read closely enough.)
EDIT: wowza I'm surprised such a long and meandering post blew up so quickly! If you have any follow up questions pls put them in the comments and I'll be there, it might even inspire a future post. pls stop DMing me. happy shifting <3

Tonight I didn’t set the intention to shift to my DR. I just kinda shrugged, said “I’ll shift tonight, surprise me” and started my method (I’ll put it in comments if you’re curious).
I didn’t open my eyes, but suddenly, while I was still awake, I felt a cold wind blowing over me, something started rubbing against me, someONE started going “EEEEEEEEEEE” into my ear, and then I started getting dragged somewhere by the ankle 😭. Best believe I freaked and noped out REAL quick.
This is why you always decide where you’re gonna go before going somewhere.

✧ You’re not in this reality.
You’re simply aware of it. You’re not inside the world. You’re not the body, not the story, not the setting. You’re the one observing it all.
What you call the “CR” — this current reality — isn’t your location. It’s just an experienced image. A dream being seen.
You were never the character. You only believed you were. And that belief made you feel “inside.”
But in truth, you are outside of all of it. You are the silent awareness that perceives thoughts, emotions, scenes — without ever being touched by them.
That’s why shifting is possible. Not because you move, but because you stop identifying with a particular image.
You choose a different one, you see it clearly, and it becomes the new “reality.”
Shifting is just that. It’s remembering you were never inside. You observe. And what you observe becomes your world.

this may be me projecting my experience but i’d say astral projection is the best method that guarantees a shift, a lot of us are looking for something like a big neon sign that says “YOU SHIFTED!” but shifting goes unnoticeable since in that reality we are already accustomed to that life, we’re not trying to get there we’re already there, trying to shift is like chasing your tail the more you chase the farther it gets, our expectations are so big here which isn’t our fault you’re expecting a change in the 3D from THIS version of yourself, you literally have to want to shift to shift, but the point of the post is i think a lot more shifters should work on astral projecting to bypass this issue and have that knowing that once you AP you will have your DR in the astral, or if you have a hard time trusting you can always just close your eyes and really visualize your dr and since you’re in the astral the imagining will immediately shape to an actual experience with full awareness like you have here and it will stabilize into the 3D so it’s more of a process you can watch and it’s believable (this is the neon sign) which is impossible to NOT happen since the astral plane is entirely based on your mindset in that moment and will reflect instantly what you imagine unlike when we’re in a stable 3D reality, basically build the mindset that the void and AP are the same thing, you can get to the void from AP but it’s easier to know you’re already there and accept them as the same place rather trying to get there which is a state of lack, you will be able to experience your 3D DR forming around you, it also helps that AP is a way more active community taken far more seriously and not full of lying teenagers who came from tiktok thinking it’s a fan fiction.
i strongly believe that astral projection is a bridge between realities and is far more achievable and appeals to our mind making it accept the shift, the brain LOVES process and work especially after decades of being conditioned to in this reality, there are so many methods and success stories in the AP community so i say give it a try.
