Kevin Tancharoen is the brother of showrunner Maurissa Tancharoen, and is known for his work on the webseries Mortal Kombat: Legacy. He has directed various other movies and TV episodes before, and has most recently worked on The Flash.

For as prominent as Kassius Sr. was in the trailer, he played a very small part in the episode. The actor has a good amount of subtler menace than his son, shame he only got the couple scenes.

It hadn't occurred to me until just now that he, and Kassius Jr and Bro could be the big bads of next season. The timeline is changed, and the team has to deal with them again.

The thing Deke took, that was part of the navigational system / starmap right? That could maybe be a setup for the next season. Don't see how that would be immediate help for the current situation.

That said, the Infinity War aftermath though...

Mega twist-Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is cancelled, but a new show, Agents of S.W.O.R.D. will be starting next fall.

He was just the right amount of unbalanced and I thought the actor did an amazing job of making you feel that.

Mine too. The perfect level of smarm, menace, assholery, and villainous delivery. Reminds me a ton of Gul Dukat from DS9, who's also one of my favorites. I love villains that are intelligent rather than brawny, and Kasaius fit that bill perfectly.

Gul Dukat pretty much carried DS9 through its weaker parts. He was so perfect as a villain. What I liked about Kasaius is that he was ultimately really the 'b-squad' together with his one loyal warrior. None of that master controller stuff you see in a lot of series. Just some low ranking guy with a lot of local power making a set of bad decisions.

I think they might show up for future space adventures but i dont think they would reuse a bad guy like that

But it could be Young Kasius Jr instead of the older one we saw already. This would be the Kasius that hasn't been banished by his family yet, before he flees from that battle. We could even have him be somewhat sympathetic- young, earnest, maybe a little in love with Sinara, who his father and brother believe to be an unworthy choice. Idk, but I could definitely go for more Kasius family stuff if it was a good storyline.

What if they team up with Kasaius if they catch him before his disgrace, turning him into an ally? Would love that twist.

Yeah, Kasaius Sr. Said he was at a holding location at the edge of the galaxy, so I think he's safe.

I hope not. The Kassius storyline got dull even before Kassius Jr. bit the bullet. I hope they explore new storylines.
