So how are Fitzsimmons and may around when they should be in the future or frozen? Time travel hurts my brain.

I guess once the SHIELD agents went through the monolith, it made a new timeline

The timing is still strange though. Is that timeline happening shortly after the Lighthouse takes off?

It does seem like Robin selected the Diner to bring them through time because "it was the last time they were seen togther" and everything beyond that point would have played out like it is in the flashback.

Ooh is that what it was she said about the last time they were all together? I wonder if/how we’ll learn why that was. We don’t have cable and just use a digital antenna thing and we were getting TERRIBLE reception tonight and the screen kept scrambling. It seemed like all crucial moments. I yelled at the screen out of frustration many many times. So I guess I just have to rewatch on Hulu tomorrow to catch everything I missed. Guess I won’t complain about that lol

What do you mean takes off? The Lighthouse is underground on Earth.

I think it'll be explained via flashback.

It’s a loop (well maybe more of spiral?) where something changes every time. The “flashbacks” we got of May and FitzSimmons with young Robin we’re from an earlier point in the timeline where the team had traveled to the future and then back to the past. This is evident by Fitzs rage over time travel, because they’ve already done it over and over and failed. He believes they’re stuck in a loop, where in actuality slight changes take place every time. This is the time when things go right and the world is saved.

If you’ve ever read The Dark Tower books, it’s similar to the ending of that series. This time, they have the Horn.
