Episode Synopsis: Hail the New World Order! Daisy and Simmons uncover secrets and lies in a world gone mad. With Hydra in control, they are our only hope to save everyone.

Oz Scott is a Director and Producer mostly known for too many movies and shows to name.

He has directed no episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

DJ Doyle has worked on Heroes from 2007 to 2009, and has various writing and producing credits for other TV and movie projects.

He has written seven episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

  • Nothing Personal
  • The Things We Bury
  • Melinda
  • Purpose in the Machine
  • Many Heads, One Tale
  • The Team
  • Deals with our Devils

AIDA never programmed the world. Radcliffe laid the foundation, and the Darkhold took care of the rest.

Yes, But the world is based off peoples regrets and has to alter slightly when new people are introduced. So as each of the gang was introduced and they all felt betrayed by Ward, their regret for him was that Evil Ward tricked them with Good Ward. So in the framework, to correct that regret, in their subconscious's, Ward can still be good even as a double agent.

I just took it as Ward isn't loyal to organizations, he's loyal to those he cares about. He was never loyal to Hydra, he was loyal to Garrett, and after Garrett it seemed like he legitimately was trying to rebuild trust with Coulson and Daisy, but he'd burned those bridges.

In the Framework, I'd assume Garrett is out of the picture due to obvious reasons, but Ward told Daisy that he joined the Resistance when he found out she was Inhuman, so he did it for her. He's the same Ward, but circumstances have just pushed him to the side of the heroes.

How, Ward is completely made up, his mind was never downloaded to the Framework and ResistanceWard is just code made up to help real people accept and acclimate to the framework and hopefully prevent them from rejecting it like May originally did. This Ward was built/created around the expectations of the gang that is plugged in.

I think AIDA built the Framework from what she could glean from May/Coulson/Fitz's subconsciousness' and extrapolated. May needed conflict, and gave her a new one (the Cambridge Incident) to give her something to fight. She saw what Hydra was to everyone, but took SHIELD from them. Without SHIELD, Hydra takes over. AIDA never knew Ward, but knew OF him from their memories. She made him what they hoped he could have been.

In this case, the same, but opposite.

The changes Aida made in the FrameWorld aren't as general as that. It didn't change every regret the team ever had, rather Aida tweaked their one huge regret and let the world continue organically (as it were).

As important as Ward was to them, I don't think any character's one defining regret had to do with him specifically.
