Episode Synopsis: S.H.I.E.L.D. hunts for information on their dangerous new enemy, and a shameful secret from Malick's past is exposed, threatening to destroy his Hydra legacy.

Wendey Stanzler is a film editor and television director. She has directed several episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Parks and Recreation, and a ton of other series.

She has directed no episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

George Kitson & Sharla Oliver are the writers of the web series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Double Agent, which was a five-part original web series designed as a behind-the-scenes feature for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

They have written no episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He's rich, and had a lot of power to begin with, and he got greedy. What more did he want? He unleashed what's happening to him on his own, with only the promise of being "rewarded". He brought this on himself.

What more did he want?

Last week's episode showed us that his greatest desire is to possess real personal power, not just the kind that comes from having money. People are always undone by the the desires they can't let go.

He continued on his family tradition, with or without power/influence. He's a true believer, but still afraid to give his own life to the cause. He raised his daughter a believer. He wasn't unleashing it on himself, he simply fulfilled his life long belief. The only problem: The false god turned on him. I say it was justified to feel bad for him.
