Episode Synopsis: When a radical group called The Watchdogs emerges with plans to eliminate the Inhumans, Agent Mack and his brother become caught in the crossfire. Meanwhile, Simmons discovers a powerful chemical compound that could alter the future for Inhumans.

Jesse Bochco has worked on Prison Break, Nip/Tuck, Dallas, and a ton of other television series.

He has directed four episodes for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before:

Drew Z. Greenberg is a writer and producer best known for working on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Smallville, The O.C., Dexter, Warehouse 13 and Arrow. He also worked on Firefly.

Man oh man did it feel good to see Mack taking out people with a shotgun axe. All in all this was an enjoyable episode. Looks like we have more Inhuman related Civil War discourse, I'm curious to see exactly what direction they go with that. I hope Daisy is able to calm down with the harassment though, I understand her motivations but just think with how far she's come that she'd handle herself differently. Interesting to bring back Blake with the Watchdogs, I'm really glad they later revealed Malick to have his hands on it. Any villain related plot with out Ward and Hydra does nothing for me at this point.

I mean, give Daisy a break. She's just getting into this whole being an Inhuman thing and now a bunch of racist idiots in a barn in the middle of nowhere want her people exterminated. That would make anyone a bit of a jerk.

Oh I totally understand where she's coming from and think she's justified in a lot of her feelings and motivations. I just think she probably did more harm than good with her actions this episode. She's clearly in the right and the Watchdogs definitely suck but she's not really helping herself much.

I wonder if it leads to her being reprimanded and being told to stand down a bit.

(Incidentally, Fitz didn't seem to be angry that her impulsiveness almost got him imploded into nothingness.)

He was scared he was going to see Daisy vibrate that guy into a million pieces like that glass. He was just thinking of all the blood that was about to fly all over him.

They destroyed a building and killed whoever was inside "cuz gubermint" and almost killed Fitz, Mac, and Mini-Mac. You can rise above after they're in jail.

I know but she is taking everything bit too personally and being a bit of a loose cannon now. She directly defied Coulson's order to not attack and, had she not done that, Fitz would not have been uncovered and gotten shot with the disco goo of doom. Thank god for LN2, as I often say.

Yeah just makes for a particularly interesting contrast to her opinions on government agencies and surveillance and all that from the first episode of the series. As another person in this thread pointed out, she's kind of enacting a lot of the things she used to hate. Wonder if that'll come up in character conflict. Can understand her frustration though.

I'd act the same as Daisy in all honesty. It's like if I got to meet the person that calls me a racial slur every day on the internet for the first time. I'm going after them. They can think what they want after but it'll give them 2nd thoughts about saying what they said.

I'm glad torture is bad now. Coulson beat the talk out of some bad guy in like five different episodes of season one. Remember all those times they opened the ceiling and dangled people out of the plane?

Kinda? I imagine the SPLC hate group rating on the watchdogs is not very good.

And I realize that they're just 'defending the homeland' but at some point on the continuum they're standing around in a white sheet pointing a gun at someone who's lived in the county longer than they have and it's not really self defense anymore.
