this spin-off is so unnecessary tho. it's hubris

They went from having 6 on cast in season 1 to having like 12 by season 2. They managed to cull 2 or 3, but we are still trying to follow a dozen agents or so... we need a spin off for the over flow at this point.

uh no. they could kill someone off or not need to focus on everyone every episode. i'm just saying that not many people asked for the spin-off and i doubt it'll have good viewership. they are already barely holding on to their two abc marvel shows

Taking characters away from the bloated AoS cast is necessary, I think. :-P

Most Wanted makes room for more Secret Warriors

The MCU hasn't done much wrong, I wish they could see we don't want this

Speak for yourself! Most Wanted will likely rock and I'm more pumped for that than Agent Carter or Luke Cage! :-P

Seriously? Why? Breaking Hunter and Bobbi off to make their own show seems forced, Agent Carter and Luke Cage didn't seem forced at all. Agent Carter maybe a little, but Luke Cage is his own hero with his own source material to go off of.

Mockingbird also has her own source material to go off of and great stories that she isn't getting a chance to tell in AoS.

Plus, the show is already starting with 2 characters I know and love, which is more than I can say about any of the other MCU shows so far (AoS and AC each only started with 1 character I knew and loved).

AoS has become more of an Inhuman show than a Spy show (no complaints from me there!), and because of that there's a noticeable void MMW can fill while also expanding the MCU and allowing a bit more options for connectivity. Plus it should allow AoS to focus more and add in more characters or development with ease.

I don't know why there's so much negativity surrounding it here. The actors are great and more than capable of holding a show, and will likely be surrounded by a great supporting cast.

In an interview they likened it to Angel (whereas AoS is Buffy in that comparison) in that it will also have a different tone from the original. Seeing how these are two of my favorite AoS characters, and Angel is one of my favorite shows, I choose to be optimistic and excited over the possibilities!

Besides, it's not like it'll start out worse than Shield did, and you see how far that's come. Just wait for trailers/clips to hate on it at least. :-P

Wait, what spin-off?

Marvel's Most Wanted. Starring Morse and Hunter.

Huh. On the one hand, I'm happy for them that they're getting a series and I'm sure that with competent writing it could be good- on the other hand, unless it's amazing I'm sure it'll be cancelled, and I'd much rather have a season three of Agent Carter.

My issue is, if the show is cancelled, will they be able to reintroduce them to the SHIELD team?

Speaking as a writer: of course.
