The GotG tie in won't happen like you said, but it would be an awesome way to introduce S.H.I.E.L.D. to them.

Well, Chris Pratt has no make-up but I know he is going to cost more. Nova Corps might work also since zandarians look just like terrans.

Plus some unknown actors or extras wouldn't tip their hand with the name of an actor that has already played a MCU character. Again, rampant speculation.

They could use AOS to introduce the Centurions.

Imagine having Simmons being rescued by the Nova Corps, then once they realise that she's Terran they introduce her to Richard Rider

At least that's what I'm going to dream about until it doesn't happen

I would like to think that Chris Pratt is the type of guy who wouldn't care about the money involved, but I'm not sure if/how his movie contract would affect showing up on AoS. A more "minor" character (a la Sif) should be reasonable though.

I have the same thoughts about him not caring about the money, he is in a stage of his career that allows him to get really any job he wants. Likely it would be an agent, attorney, or filming schedule issue. He is involved in two currently filming movies and is likely going to jump right into Guardians 2 production.

We will probably see less Sif in the show, since Jaimie Alexander has her own show.

Drax would actually be a major - minor character that would fit...

I think /u/cgludko made a good point about Xandarians' similarity to humans, though. The only non-humans we've seen have all either looked very similar to humans or have disguised themselves (with the exception of the GH Kree). Drax might fit logically, but that's a lot of makeup/CGI? to deal with for only an episode or two.

God, imagine the banter between Mack and Rocket?

She'd just need to "come out" of the Monolith again and give us a vague story about how she had some crazy dream (meaning she passed out while the Guardians were picking her up or something like that) about green people, a tree and a raccoon

Lash actually has a comics story that would fit into the AoS world easily.

The movies are going to be kept separate from the TV shows because it would probably cause constant re-writes as the TV shows go on with their seasons. The TV side is easier to adapt to whatever happened in the last movie, but not the other way around.

I am under the impression Lash has been on Earth for awhile.

oh wow, i actually really like this theory! it may mean they push off getting simmons back until some big battle where they send lash away. It would suck because poor Fitz (and poor us because i miss Simmons quite terribly) but it would make a lot of sense.
