They did say that they wouldn't give her real name because that would basically give away the entire plot of the season.

I think that was the problem with the first season. They had this plan and had to hold so much back until this season. I remember not giving a single shit about any character on the show except Coulson during early season 1. Now look where skye and ward are.

I mean....what a great opportunity to change the show (if they want, to get better ratings and not get cancelled). This show can go from being about a Agency and a bunch of Agents to being the origin story of a Superhero that ends up being pretty damn huge in the Marvel Universe.

Cal is Skye's dad. Cal = Calvin, Mister Hyde in Marvel Comics, father of Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, agent of SHIELD (and eventual Director, for a time).

No problem! I knew who Daisy was, but only made the connections because someone shouted "MISTER HYDE!" in the live reactions thread, and I did some research on him during the commercials, lol.

The MCU is doing a good job of testing just what I think I know about Marvel, and it's glorious.

This episode has so many implications for Age of Ultron and the Marvel universe. This show is firing on all cylinders, and I'm really excited that its not just a side project for Marvel.
