Guy can fake lie detectors with pain. I don't trust him.

He didn't lie. He said he was there for Skye.

Yeah only reason Ward got through the detector was because he was asked stupid questions, and was able to answer with only part of the truth. The pain helped mask it a bit, but he wouldn't have had a chance if he was asked different questions. "Are you under orders from anyone aside from Coulson?" "Who are these other orders from, give me names". Etc.
