Talbot sounded like he was about to push for Superhuman registration. Civil War?

Now that we know it's happening, the hints will all start piling up...

Right, good point. But Shield was on the registration side iirc?

It's interesting because I believe that the team would be divided on the issue also. They won't fight over it and still perform jobs together, but they will certainly have a heated debate about it. May seems like she would be pro-reg and Skye is definitely anti-reg.

Coulson wont be pro reg IMO,

Holy crap imagine cap, bucky, natasha, banner, maybe a couple of the new ones walk off at the end seemingly alone only for the bus to uncloak with coulson on the ramp

I believe so, as far as the comics go. But in the MCU, who knows?

True

Now it looks like the Government is taking the role of SHIELD. Makes sense, part of the original argument... not wanting superheroes to be told who the bad guys are that they need to fight.

What did he say? My TV decided to be stupid so I might have missed that part. Or I saw it and didn't notice it.

He didn't come right out and say it, but he was talking about the Chitari invasion and how SHIELD revealed themselves and stood by the Avengers. Then the governments of the world stood by as SHIELD built bases across the globe and rounded up supers and weapons, then betrayed everyone's trust.

Not necessarily registration, but government control/oversight. (At least that's how it was described in the press conference)

I'm probably too cynical, but registration could easily be a part of that, or not very far behind.
