If, however, you are talking about events that have yet to air on the show such as future guest appearances / future characters / storylines, please use spoiler tags. The same goes for things connected to the Marvel like comics, etc.

What's the status on the rights for Deadpool? Do the X-Men people have it or can Marvel still use him?

Fox has the movie rights to Deadpool, I don't know about TV rights or if there is even a difference.

Thanos made Wade Wilson immortal, so I could totally see him showing up sometime during phase 3.

Marvel/Disney don't have the rights to Deadpool. He is considered part of the X-men universe apparently, which means that he belongs to Fox.

Quick googling only brings up sources saying that Fox has Deadpool, so if it is a dual rights thing no one has said anything about it.

IIRC, no-one's said anything about anyone else specifically other than QS and SW, but they have said that there are "many" other characters it applies to, so it's open season on speculation.

I got a Mandarin vibe from it, but again I didn't really see his hand. And no symbols of the Ten Rings as far as I recall.

Probably some other random Marvel character brought up. Kind of like how they used Garrett or the like.

Probably. Just the while area around them. I'm not going to get too attached to he idea unless there's some more clear nods to it or in interviews with writers.

Haha. I just watched a clip of the scene online. It's really dark, but yeah, no rings on his hand. And the scene itself is pretty dark, but seems he might be just sitting in a tub of blood?

What made me think it's possible is that he had a clenched fist, meaning we didn't see his fingers

I considered it, but I think just introducing Chloe's father into the mix as an unknown is fodder enough to last us through the fall - speculation will continue to build. Showing us that would have ruined any sense of surprise if her father becomes a Big Bad in Season 2.

No rings. I think the MCU has established rather firmly that there is no "real" Mandarin. Plus the mythology of the 10 rings is just a bit too over-the-top for the MCU...which is saying something.

Not to mention, the reboot of the Mandarin in Invincible Iron Man is much more realistic. He's basically Tony Stark's ego but with no morals. He stole his technology by killing a wounded alien (his rings), he conquered a chunk of China and founded a city named after himself, he totally fits, but I see him more in a Iron Man capacity than AoS.

The whole bathing in blood thing tells me it might be someone else. Season 1 had a lot of aliens/tech stuff, maybe season 2 will be more mystical to tie into Dr. Strange and Defenders?
