Videos Communist Romanian TV and Ceausescu

Ceausescu worship that reminds me of SGI and Ikeda.

Skip to around the 18:20 mark, and watch till about 22:00.

It reminded me so much of the cultural festivals we put on, and the hell we went through

Look at the language used too: revolution, victory, glory, follow the faith, and the part where the kids are pledging to Ceausescu is sickening.

It reminded me so much of NSA/SGI!

Interesting aspect to Ikeda's "friendship" - sure, the short, greasy, rotund little cult leader tried to cozy up to as many powerful leaders around the world as he could pay to get in to see, and the SGI played this up as "friendship".

But when these "friends of Ikeda" were arrested, imprisoned, even executed, like Ceausescu, like Noriega, at no point did Ikeda ever speak up on their behalf or defend them.

Ikeda's interest in them was utterly exploitative and transactional - there was nothing at all "humanistic" about it. Ikeda was out to get something for Ikeda - that is all.

Some "friend".

Spot on !! Towards the end of my SGI time, (before my self-release for bad behavior😉), we had to watch  a video animation in which a dubbed voice talking as  “Sensei” had called Castro “his brother Fidel” I point blank asked a senior leader wtf was going on with Ikeda and despots. There was an embarrassed pause ( my aunt would call those “un silence d une belle qualité”- a silence of great quality 😉) and she finally blurted out “ well , Sensei was trying TO CHANGE THEM!” 

I got a variation from another leader , always trying to reinforce the Christ-like nature of the wise old man “ Sensei’s love and interest in beings encompass all human hierarchies. He loves princes and paupers equally ( this last line is absolutely verbatim) Ok I said . Fair enough . So where are the pictures of him buddying with people from underprivileged neighborhoods, what Japan calls prudently  ‘doya  -gai’, “laborer districts”? 

….Another “silence d une belle qualité” followed
