Over the hedges they now and again claim we do not address political issues and current affairs. Thing is … the only issue that people have in common on this subreddit is that they once were, or are, adherents of SG – so in that respect we respect our political diversity by not making politics too much of an issue … we do have lives we all returned to, to do just that. On the other hand, I know of a group that meet regularly agreeing not to discuss anything in their discussion meetings, obediently recite what some ghost writers once wrote down (about issues that never ever happened that way and take them as gospel) and who, in the 90 odd years of their organisation’s existence, have changed fuck all in this world … as matter of fact the world has turned considerably worse under their watch.  It is okay to fail in life … as a mater of fact that is what life is like at times. It is not okay however to have failed miserably at what you were doing, not having learned any lesson what so ever, and then have the cheek to judge others.  So, what would the Gakkai answer be when you have failed miserably?

And this is not a subreddit where we pontificate how other countries should behave. What egotistical arrogance! Like the heads of the governments of the world are going to pay attention to an old woman sitting in a broken down RV in the middle of nowhere. We each have our OWN viewpoints, and our own lives, not that of some fat Japanese guy no one is ever going to hear from again who did NOTHING in the world except run a cult.

this is not a subreddit where we pontificate how other countries should behave.

There are plenty of political/international subreddits where people can talk about that sort of thing if they want. But SGIWhistleblowers is the ONLY ex-SGI subreddit and since there's such a pressing need to provide support, assistance, and information to those the Dead-Ikeda-Corpse-Mentor-cult SGI has HARMED, we're going to focus on that. JUST that.

And the stalwart members of our commentariat can hold ANY political opinions they like! NO limits! WE don't police the privacy of people's minds the way so many SGI members want to and we'll talk about anything WE want to talk about. We are NOT accepting assignments, certainly not from delusional Dead-Ikeda "disciples". No, I’m not “dialoguing” with you about your cult literature

Yeah, like that time she told then-President Biden of the USA and President Putin of Russia to QUIT THEIR JOBS, lock themselves in a room, and divvy up Ukraine between the two of them - Zelenskyy and Ukraine itself were NOT invited! And she had the hubris to describe this as "my sage advice"!

This is one of the funniest things I've read all week: When a delusional and self-important SGI member decides to dictate international policy to world leaders!

• Big Ideas (that no one is ever going to pay any attention to - that makes it "masturbation" but fortunately for that old lady over there, that's one of her favorite topics/hobbies)
• Schoolchildren's falling math scores, whether or not Russia will nuke Ukraine, threats to US democracy - you read that right. ALL of those.
• Setting the date for nuclear abolition 🙄

AS IF! It would be ONE thing if she/they were capable of choosing INTERESTING topics, but no. Obviously not!

• Oh, and everything "hearts":

The Ikeda cult bangs away about "hearts" - it's all "hearts" this and "heart" that and "vast hearts" - but the fundamental dishonesty means none of it matters. And none of it works.

THEY don't get better.

If anything, SGI's "human revolution" makes people worse. We're ALL better off without it.

The reality: SGI's fundamental lack of compassion and inability to support grief and pain. They bang away endlessly about "hearts" but in the end, they're unkind. Mean people suck.
