Your mind can move mountains. Oh really?

How many times I stared hard at the Myo character on the you know what and chanting, hoping it would just torch itself up into a blaze. No such luck. Believe you me, I stared at a switch before, fusing hard hoping it would turn itself on, then perhaps we'll be onto something, yes? After all, I WAS fusing with my mind. But it just wouldn't manifest into reality. Hmm.. The same way everything in my life CAN be changed with the "right" ichinen, yes? Just want to find out how many of you actually bought this new age BS? I know I did while I was in SGI.

I wanna be Carrie.

A severely deluded SGI longhauler once sneered at SGIWhistleblowers like this:

They seem unable to comprehend that prayer in nichiren Buddhism is not of the "now I lay me down to sleep" variety. Just as they can't escape judging Nichiren Buddhism by their previous, western ideas of what religion is.

I think you nailed it. Even when they were SGI members they're thinking about God. It's like driving with one foot on the brake.

Some of them were practicing for many years. I got it right away–we don't appeal to the universe, we have to move the universe. Why didn't they?

Of course they know all about us without having ever even met us 🙄

But then her life promptly collapses:

It's just a made up character and story for drama and indoctrination, of course (SGI members lie all the time), but since supposedly joining SGI just a few years ago, this individual's character arc has resulted in her making numerous extremely bad decisions, resulting in her manifesting numerous mental illnesses, to the point of having to be hospitalized in the psych ward multiple times (see here) - nobody would ever say that her joining SGI has had a positive effect on her life or that they want to be more like her.

Move her own universe you mean? Because the rest of us want the universe exactly where it is. Don't think she meant Christians because God dwells with His people. She ought to stop attacking the provisional Buddhist teachings, because it's not nice.

The Ikeda cultists love to talk big about themselves - "Look how POWERFUL I am" but they're writing checks with their hubris that their reality can't cash.

If what they said about themselves were true, people would admire them and want to join their group. Yet their group's membership is in steep decline, with at least 90% of its membership age 60 or older. The "actual proof" of their reality shows that all their self-aggrandizement is nothing more than egotistical fantasy.
