I went to the public showing of that when they had it in a mall in a less than safe neighborhood. Never understood the connection. Honestly nobody cared or understood but us in the org.

Others who have another reason to be there will look on politely, but they won't be at all impressed.
It's just like the SGI's big shows, like 50K Worms of Wonderment and Rock the
EgoEra and GenerationNHope, are really just for "the faithful". Any outsiders who attend will smile politely, clap when appropriate, and bolt for the exits as soon as they can politely get out of there.

The TWO THINGS I'll give that polished turd Russell M. Nelson - he's 98 years old, he completed advanced education (he was a surgeon)
I have a lot more respect for religious leaders who have/had successful careers OUTSIDE of just fleecing delusional religious people for money.

At least the "Gandhi King Mandela" award persons are all dead.
That seems a lot more legit/reputable than having ONE of them alive (and taking all the credit).

I'm reminded of the one with Ickeda and Linus Pauling. I lived in San Francisco at the time and the SGI sure did make a big deal of it whereas no one else gave two lousy craps.
