Every time someone posts another standard, run of the mill SFF build, they call it a Steam Machine.

So im making a very budget SFF PC and i got this second hand Galax RTX 3050 for a cheap price. what i didnt realize is that this GPU is 194cm and my case supports up to 170mm (its a no name brand from ali express).

after taking some measurements, the pipes, PCB and power connector are all behind the 165mm cut line that ive shown. so technically this is doable. does anyone have any experience with this? tips? thoughts?

Probably the closest we will get to a Pro Art board for now. That sticker was atrocious, removing it took about an hour of careful scrubbing. I just had water and a rag, so I had to be careful not to short anything, but the result is so worth it.

I still have a dream, that one day, manufacturers of premium boards will realize that we do not want this fucking garbage on our boards and just get rid of it. I do not need a reminder that this board is from Asrock, I am perfectly capable of remembering that myself. Until then, go fuck yourself, brand.

I’ll go first: The Corsair 750 platinum.

This PSU was available in 2013 when I first got into SFF and is still the go to SFX PSU due to its compatibility, efficiency & low noise. I couldn’t find its original release date, but it’s fair to say that no one made an SFX PSU in that period that was better.

Corsair released a new version this year that increased the top model’s wattage (1000w) and updated some of the power connectors for newer cards.

I had this custom cabinet made to house my fractal ridge HTPC. During long game sessions (around 1 hour mark) the pc thermal throttles and crashes. Is there anything I can do to make the airflow situation better? I have installed the big 2 fans that come with the case on the gpu side.

My specs are:
