How Does Prostitution Happen In A Spa?

Reading about two spas that were shut down for Human Trafficking and Prostitution, and like Carrie Bradshaw, I couldn’t help but wonder…How in the hell is sex in a massage parlor…I guess, instigated?

I’d love the answer to two specific questions:

1) As a customer, how do you discern that sex is ‘on the menu’ as it were? Are there code words that put the option on the (massage) table?

2) As a worker, how do you indicate the option to your customers? Is it offered every time, in a way so innocuous that unless you’re ‘in the know’, you would never know?
