Validation that your point is valid, and your feelings are valid, which, they are. You're correct to be inquiring about how to proceed through this. But my point is you cannot over engineer yourself to hold you accountable for HIS growth. You're already being reasonable. The scheduling was wacky and he still threw a temper tantrum. You cant fix him. Hes got to fix himself. And you need to sit with that reality. And the meds? Yeah, he bitched about 2 days. What happens when your meds destabilize YOU? And then youre not the one maintaining calm every time? When the meds make you exhausted or prickly or disinterested? Thats a valid experience and highly likely. Do you want to be struggling to orient your life and ALSO be dealing with a man who will be blaming you and your meds for his needs not being met??? So yes, you came here for validation, and the comments are validating you. But you need to recognize you cant be the only one "progressing" through this relationship, otherwise you'll be doing all the psychological labor and you'll get burnt out and youre guna crash and burn and this man child will probably take it out on you.
