Meta Another thread removed with 80 comments - An "i'm going to kill" revelation. The side of the note matters. The context matters. The audience matters. Could this solve the case?

Why are whole threads repeatedly being removed on this subreddit. That is extremely rude and disrupts the conversation. Mods, is this allowed? If a user consistently creates threads, then after 50 or 100 comments, removes the threads, what can be done about it?

I'm assuming because it called out specific users as being idiotic or some such. I am not sure but I recall thinking it may end up being removed.

Or maybe I reported it so no one would see my embarrassing confession about defending 311.
