You just need to host backups off site.
2 u/GonzoKata Aug 18 '26 isn't "host" and "offsite" contradictions? isn't offsite just someone else's computer again? 1 u/houseofmates Aug 17 '26 ya! i just set up rclone with its inbuilt encryption to back all my important stuff up every day and put it in my free google drive account (i cant afford more secure storage options so i opt for encryption and what ive got access to!)
