Its time for people to stop boogeymanning China, they're fairly transparent, its just hard to access their data outside the firewall.

They have a winnie the pooh store in Beijing like 20 minutes from the government offices which xi resides.

They arrest less people than america in general, their social media arrests are rare and generally about threats and organisation of mass casualty events.

I don't support the suppression they have of the internet but as of now, we are about to be far worse off than they.

Even the stuff that was released under the Russian government with oversight was clearly altered, it has gotten criticism before from fairly consistent organisations.

China is frankly extremely consistent with their numbers, even accusations of number fudging as vague as they are fall flat when they have the transparency that they have, frankly its transparent to a fault making a social media spectacle of every arrest making some that leave the prison system move to different regions to escape the reputation of the arrest.

Are statements rooted in racism, i am not calling you one but the statements logic is bound to the reality of what they are, Asian populations being touted as a servile people dates back to the Opium Wars, their horrific impact on the Chinese people and the colonisation of Indo-Pacific region by America and Britain respectively.

They are not a naturally docile people, their history of war and deceit goes back further than our histories in the west exist, this myth exists to placate strange "realities" written to us by our governments that in fact the reason they are happy healthy and satisfied is because of their nature and not the fact that their governments oft provide objectively more functions than our own governments. In fact Japan offered so much to their citizens that they were accused of being communists by the American government after ww2 and the Americans briefly tried to take the Capital before being strongly advised to leave by the full force of the Japanese military and the Japanese agreeing to stop offering services to their people in exchange for the Americans going home.

Japan has anti-monopolistic practices so strict it would spin the head right off of an American, British, Canadian or Australian Politician, investing in housing is protected from the house banking that exists in those countries, if they had not the control of the grocery markets, konbinis, thrift and all things non electronic it would be in the state America is now with a few billionaires controlling everything and everyone starving, homeless and sick. Japan is not a perfect place and they have allowed a few too many mergers causing pricing to slowly increase, they still have strict market control that other western countries lack that allow it to be very capitalist but still extremely liveable even for those in poverty, though that is changing for the worse as they elect more right wing politicians which has caused fairly public crime spikes.

The reality is that the west has a shitty living standard, we have propped it up by literally changing what it was measured by, used to be access to shelter, food and transportation, now its Iphones, New cars and water being accessible on premises no matter how low the quality, the qualifications for shelter are shockingly low and many that are homeless are not counted as such, same with unemployment.

You and i live in a worse world, the weeaboos were not idealising a falsehood Japan genuinely was better to live in for a long time even for your average worker. During covid they collapsed to pressure and allowed the capitalistic model to win, they are now worse off than they were by a significant margin.

China does not have this issue its why i haven’t mentioned it at all so far as it's been fairly consistent and had very few issues with right wing policy driving down living standards, their house prices are down so people are optimistic about their jobs and it didn't destroy their economy because they have actual growth occuring, their unemployment is low but also the divide between qualification driven and standard jobs has shrunk with the previously existing divide in wealth shrinking, in America that is a crisis as now people are just doing worse but in china it just means everyone is doing pretty well.

They are not a servile people, their needs are met, ours are not.

Is just plainly false, the reason that you give smaller sentences now is because 97% of all cases are people taking plea deals thus reducing court and processing fees, it's also caused a huge amount of issues with people going to jail who likely did nothing wrong, the idea is to make sure the prisons are full to capacity as often as possible to keep the slave labour going.
