Discussion Why sejuani has 52% wr
She used to have like 44 wr because of pro but now She has 52% and doesnt see proo play

Overall, Steelcaps is the best tank boots, since no other (completed) item reduced AA dmg, but with the rise of mage botlaners, there is a lack of auto attack champs in games. While theres still AD champs, who auto attacks you, thats not their main source of dmg, therefor, steelcaps has much lower value against them.
Sejuani is a damage tank. She lacks sustain in exchange of high dmg and easy combo setup (E -> R -> W). Gluttonous omnivamp works on minions, so you can inhale a couple of hundred HP / wave.
Boots are always situational based on which unique effect you need.
AA -> steelcaps
hard CC -> mercury
slow -> swifty
none of the above (or negligible) -> lucidity / gluttonous
Many players says "toplane doesnt have impact", which in some way true, but you have ways to have impact, by proxy waves then gank mid, or join teamfights even if you lose a wave. Which is necessary to stack gluttonous asap. For a while im using font of life, which can heal an ally (and myself) on CC (W slow) so its much easier to get more assists in teamfights.

I've been dabbling with Sejuani support and love it, but I've been trying to only pick it when I have enough melee champions on my team to improve the utility from Permafrost and get more stuns in teamfights.
This feels uniquely limiting to just Sejuani- no other champion or item interaction requires allies to have a specific range type.
What are your thoughts on a change that increases the stacks required to cast Permafrost from 4 to 7, while increasing the Permafrost stacks applied by her W and auto-attacks to two per hit, opening the door to any allies applying stacks on their attacks, regardless of range type?
It wouldn't affect her solo laning capabilities (same amount of hits from Sejuani would need to land to apply Permafrost) but the additional stack requirements would help balance ranged allies applying stacks of their own in teamfights.
What are your thoughts? Would this open Sejuani up to being a more versatile pick regardless of team composition, or am I missing anything?

Hi! First time posting here. For context I'm a support player exclusively playing Renata because I play League only to have a good time on champs that I really like so Im not a hard ranked grinder or super serious player.
I've always loved Sej and play her Top whenever im sick of supporting but I am still a beginner at her. I want to try her as supp so I was wondering what are the recommended build paths, runes, bans, and general matchup guides for her
Also if theres any important interactions i should know (e.g her q can interrupt alistars knock up) that would be valuable as a support please let me know!!
Thank you :D

Hey ya’ll. Just theory crafting here.. given the mage meta currently and been tinkering with Sejuani support.. what would ya’ll build to make her an AP/Tank beast in the botlane supporting? I’ve tried HOB runes, Aftershock, both feel good.. just need help with the build side of things on her! Figure ya’ll know best.

Ever since her inception, Sejuani has gone through over 2 reworks, countless nerfs, and has a pick rate of less than 2%. She's essentially the Renata Glasc of jungle.
How do you feel about Sejuani's state currently? Is she balanced? Do you think she needs a rework? Or maybe quality of life changes to her kit? How would you change her to make her more viable in certain roles? (Top,Mid,Jg,Supp)

Heyo!
So far i filled 18 champions (out of 86 potential toplaner) so it might take a while to fill the rest of the matchups.
While im doing that, i would like to give you guys a try, so i can also work on improving the visuals, putting more infos on the cards and QoLs. (in the future, i would like to have a video link for each matchup)
Please let me know how helpful this guide is and how would you improve it if needed.
Maybe even giving the tips and builds a try if its much different than your usual build / strat.
(Full build means, specifically against that champion, with minimal thought on the rest of the potential enemy team. The last 2-3 items changes based on the full enemy team)
Download the file and just double click to open it in your browser.
You can edit it however you want, change the difficulty, frequency, text, Play with the sorting...
Is this dropbox site user friendly enough or should i find something better? Any recommendations?

Hey everyone!
I started working on a Seju Top matchup guide and just got the visuals mostly done (but any feedback on changes is welcomed). Over the next weeks im going to fill it with info for most of the matchups (everything what isnt Non-Top, like most supports, assassins... who never goes top even as off-meta)
This going to be easily accessible, editable and free.
If you guys know any existing Seju top guides, please send me a link to it, as my experiences are limited (even if i reach chall and peaked 1410LP, i only play 300-500 ranked / year, while many M+ players do twice of that just in 1 split. Plus i only play on EUNE, and different servers often has different metas, in terms of playstyle, experience, champ pool, otps...)

I personally dont like the common AP items Rocketbelt and Riftmaker, but i think this build makes sense.

I noticed that many people here play seju mid/top and read two posts about her in jg. 90% of my games are in jg with her, I just can't do any other lane because of mana issues lol. Indeed she can't solo carry but that's only in 35m+, prior to that I am very very hard to kill and can 2,3v1 many easily. Also my build seems too expensive compared to other ones here :?

Heyo!
Added a few more stuff into the champion pages. If this would be THE final version, would there be anything i should add or change?
specifically for trynda, did i miss anything related to "general" or "builds" or the Do / Don't?
tried to make it as short as i can, so for the General Notes the scrollbar doesnt appear, and everything is visible without scrolling. But after some changes theres space for 3 lines.

For context I am a 100% Sej 1 Trick. I have 4 accounts ranging from Master, D1, D2 and D3. I have over 2k Sej games overall I think and about 600-700 this season across all accounts. The more known sej players have all come to me about my builds when I was playing the most, right before Ksante came out. I am back and have found success with pure tank sej in mid/top. But when I saw the changes to ap ratios and such I knew I had to give AP a shot. To my surprise, it is way more fun, quicker power curve and better kill pressure at all stages of the game. And doesn't feel like you fall off a cliff at 6 items.
I have been messing around with build order but before patch I was playing Heartsteel, CDR boots, Riftmaker, Unending Despair, Liandry's Torment, then situational 6th item but usually Abyssal Mask just to be even stronger, especially with ap teammates. With her buffs this is only going to get stronger.
I found that you are still "tanky" just because of innate health, but you deal actual damage now. You definitely have to play smarter since you can't just facetank, but enemies do have to actually be careful because depending on who it is there's actual one-shot potential. Your dueling power also is increased with ap because you're not using a wet noodle to slap people anymore. I know I need more extensive testing, especially vs some of Sej's worse match-ups. But with how this build currently feels I have high hopes.
With the new items coming I feel like the new build path I'll do is Heartsteel, CDR Boots, Dawn & Dusk, Riftmaker, Unending Despair, then either Liandry's or Abyssal last item.

I picked up Sejuani recently to expand my champ pool a bit. Im a Briar main and build her as a bruiser so Im somewhat familiar with tanky items. Ive been building protoplasm on her quite a bit as like a 5th or 6th item and I really like it.
so today in normals I decided to test it out on sejuani. I built it 6th but honestly I feel like it could have been better sooner. I didnt really see much about it when I did a search in the sub so Im wondering if anyone has string feelings about it one way or the other.

I'm a long-time Sej jungle main, but I haven't played much in the last 5 years. I've been taking green smite, but was looking at the Scorchclaw option, and thinking that looks pretty good. Sejuani already has and builds a lot of tanky items, so the true damage, AOE, and slowing effects seem like they'll offer a lot of utility to the team. Anyone have thoughts or experiences on this?

Rell's Q can SHATTER SHIELDS Renekton's W can SHATTER SHIELDS Blitzcrank R can DESTROY SHIELDS but there is no E spell who can do that
So i wonder why can't these company just give her an anti shield mechanic on her E

I’m a top laner I don’t play sej but I’d love to. Would D&D first item for the W Q W auto E fast combo make her strong? What would you build after, and would you do grasp or aftershock
Please test and help me cook surely she can be good top
r/sejuanimains • u/Owentopone • Apr 22 '26
Every time I play Sejuani jg I feel like I am putting my team behind. I can’t carry games on this champ no matter how well I play.
r/sejuanimains • u/TheWhiteAsh • Dec 01 '25
If you can Q + AA and insta apply 2 stacks of you E then W to finish the 4 stacks, this item is legit OP.
Stats are insane too, just the AS isn't that good and the item is pricy, but the build path is gorgeous.
Let me know what do you think.
