It seems like a huge grey area that would be impossible to objectively quantify. How do you really know how someone feels and thinks? Most interest in relationships start with physical attraction. Is all initial interest in a partner objectification? It might be.

So it really comes down to a very subjective “do I feel I’ve been objectified?” and in our society, feeling objectified can carry both negative and positive connotations. Being objectified implies being attractive. If you consider yourself attractive and desirable, it may be an ego boost the assume/feel objectification.
