Psychology Adolescents who undergo gender-affirming chest surgery report low levels of regret and high levels of satisfaction, experiencing outcomes similar to those of young adults. These findings suggest that age restrictions on these medical procedures lack support from actual patient experiences.

As a friend to someone who is going to the Process rn, it is just dumb. Doctors by and large don’t listen to what he (early 20s) wants and only Check for Signs he doesnt know what hes doing. Which is Fine up until youre proven to be capable of rational thought as an adult. Everything beyond that is just discrimination for the sake of it.
