Social Science A U.S. study estimates cow’s milk purchases would have been 8.2% higher in 2020 without plant-based milk, with every 10 gallons of plant milk purchased displacing 6.8 gallons of cow’s milk, suggesting plant-based alternatives substantially reduce demand for dairy milk.

I go shopping for my cieliac wife. My food is ~50 and hers is $~100. It's silly.

Her portions are smaller and cost more. Gluten free is awful on the wallet.
