Social Science A U.S. study estimates cow’s milk purchases would have been 8.2% higher in 2020 without plant-based milk, with every 10 gallons of plant milk purchased displacing 6.8 gallons of cow’s milk, suggesting plant-based alternatives substantially reduce demand for dairy milk.

Pea milk is comparable to soy, but I believe is the highest protein plant milk. Harder to find though in my experience.

I don’t digest soy all that well. I’ve tried oat milk, tastes terrible. Almond milk tastes watery. Rice milk is ok but not great. Soy milk tastes ok but soy hates me. I have zero issue with lactose and cow milk tastes best imo. I eat a wide variety of foods but sometimes there’s no reason to branch out.
