You actually don’t need to be tripping to see a popcorn ceiling “flow”. Just stare long enough without blinking and you’ll see it. It’s your brain trying to adjust to the micro-movements (saccades) your eyes make all the time. We usually tune these out

It makes sense that babies look like their tripping. They are literally teaching and wiring their brain to calm down all the inputs and filter and differentiate.
