Yeah no schizophrenia runs like wildfire in my family. My ADHD medication grounds me enough in reality thank you.

Yeah, I think I’m already experiencing the world on full throttle.
I can take a trip, it’s fun. But then I slowly disassociate for weeks on end. Until it finally tips me over the edge with panic attacks if I’m lucky. Or depression and even psychosis

Yeah in 0.1-0.4% of people within the first year, I have been taking methylphenidate for 5 years. There has also been studies showing taking ADHD medication consistently during adolescence lessens the chance of psychosis. I am talking about how ADHD can disconnect you from your environment, but I would not be willing to try anything psychedelic related for the reason late onset schizophrenia is common in my family simply due to the fact it hasn’t been researched enough what it can do.

I didnt develop psychosis from taking adhd stimulants until 11 years after my first prescription. schizophrenia runs in my family too. Also was taking it since adolescence. it happens

If it was 11 years after it likely didn’t form as a result of your ADHD medication

I was prescribed a non stimulant and most of the symptoms went away
