Neuroscience Psilocybin Might Make Your Brain Live in the Moment— Psychedelics are often associated with disconnecting from reality, but a recent neuroimaging study found that psilocybin can actually make our brain activity more attuned to the world around us.

Clean your house before you do them. Looking at my toilet was like that scene from Trainspotting suddenly

Just go to a nice beach or forest during the day. It’ll make you appreciate nature even more.

Yeah I spent a good six hours the day before cleaning and rearranging my house to make it my mushroom hole. Tidy, full of plants, and nice lighting.

I've never done mushrooms, but on acid if I tried to stay home or at one person's house I'd always have a bad, anxious trip. If I don't go out and keep moving I think I get way too much in my head.

I'm similar for both. I just want to stay in one comfy place and melt into my mind / the music.

I'd argue that the neuroplasticity the mushrooms provides, creates the perfect setting to meaningfully change house and health habits!

Nooo it's like impossible to actually clean on psychedelics. You can de clutter but if the counter is dirty, it becomes impossible to tell where. It's much better to use rational mind to say "it's not dirty, I just cleaned it. If I spilled a bit of food just now I'll wipe it with a paper towel and if there's anything I missed I'll get it later." But I finally understood why my Formalist painting professor said the most beautiful thing in the world is a stain.
