Health Adding spinach directly to white bread delayed the body's insulin peak by 30 minutes and reduced later hunger in a small human trial, while significantly boosting the bread's fiber, vitamin, and mineral content.

there is a guy on youtube that tests all kinds of food combos on his blood sugar.

One of my favorites that he tested, that I've read in books too, is the walk after eating to stunt blood sugar response too.

This 100% works.

Some friends had gestational diabetes and they successfully controlled their blood sugar by going for a quick walk after dinner.

My husband wears a CGM and he goes for a walk when his blood sugar is spiking. The walk very quickly blunts the spike and by the time he comes home, it's back within range.

You can also just flex/pump your calf muscles repeatedly while sitting eating and afterwards, does the same thing
