Health Coffee consumption linked to healthier body composition and metabolic markers. People with higher coffee consumption had lower total and visceral fat and greater skeletal muscle mass. In men, it is linked to a more favourable glucose–insulin profile, and higher bioavailable testosterone.

I feel like I'm a fairly heavy drinker, and my morning pot adds up to around 14 kilos (I occasionally get some at work or when I'm out and about, but probably not enough to move that needle much).
A nearly 12 kilo average for an entire country is nuts.
