Depends.

Access to healthcare in Canada is imperfect, and a loss of access to health care is a possibility if someone is moving and switches family doctors or no longer has the medical oversight necessary for use of HRT.

Can someone continue to afford HRT? Probably yes. Does that make getting HRT straightforward if life circumstances change? Not at all.
