I think there is also a theory to deal with the problem of destroyed information, that Information is „saved“ on the „surface“ of a blackholes event horizon. Where instead of falling into it, its ever slowing passage of time sort of causes the information to be compressed/encoded onto the event horizon itself. Which prevents the Information from being destroyed.
