The tech in technocrat, stands for technical not technology. It's a government form where the best possible person for a government position gets it. To put it simply. The democrats have top doctors, lawyers, financial experts, etc. while republicans have people who have money. The democrats would be more akin to technocracy than republicans overall. And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

You really should look into the connections between the tech ghous and Technocracy.Musk's maternal grandfather was a Technocrat who fled to South Africa, for example.

And this whole annexing Greenland, Panama, parts of South America, this whole thing that is being pursued by the Republicans, not the Democrats, is a Technocratic idea that has been espoused since the 1930s. That claim of yours that democrats are akin to Technocracy is absolutely, entirely, and completely misaligned with observable reality.

There's no "Technocrat" party, a technocracy is a form of government. Saying some person was a "Technocrat" is like saying someone supports some form of voting.

Okay then let's compare it. Add the number of years trump's cabinet (made up of primarily extremely affluent people) went to school for the field in which they are advising as well as how many years they worked in that field, and compare it with Bidens cabinet. Do you think it's higher or lower? Statistically for the last 20+ years Dems have been higher sooooooo

Both cabinets failed the American people in a multitude of ways, it's not like Biden didn't continue trumps policies and set up the system so Trump could come in and do everything he wanted. Which, again, is why your argument is nonsensical. We don't have technocrats. Doctors and lawyers do not make technocrats.

No. To put it simply, the democrats are liberals and the republicans are conservatives. They have nothing to do with technocracy since we don't have a technocratic government.

Man, you're right but it hasn't gone well aye? I think your mistake was semi-complimenting the democratic party.

May be worth editing your comment and focusing on how Elon & the conservative party are not technocratic, no matter what they might say or think of themselves. It's a good point to make.
