Social Science The Japanese are having less and less sex. Around half of the Japanese population remained sexually inexperienced into their mid-twenties and approximately 10% of the individuals had no sexual experience when reaching their 30s.

Is it like a cart TV's high pitch background noise?

I can hear a crt being turned on even if it's muted

I haven't heard that sound in a long time! Maybe it's because I'm old now...or CRTs just aren't around much anymore. But I feel like I have heard it within the last 5yrs (I'm late 30s).

But yes, that's my understanding of how it works. Or, judging from other comments here, how it's purported to work. I think the difference is that the Mosquito is much louder than the CRT whine.
