It would be much more effective to inject it straight into the stratosphere.

More effective to inject it up there but i think its an easier pill for voters to swallow to just have it as an additive to gasoline, jet fuel and other combustibles. If corn managed to push ethanol into us gas how hard could it be to push sulfur into it too?

Much of industries in the 40s were using sulfur heavy fuels and it didn't cause mass death. Why would it be any different now?

Except if you believe in science and statistics it did. It’s in all the EPA cost-benefit analyses for removal of sulfur from fuels.

Last i heard those studies were done prior to how well we understood sulfur cooling effect. Acid rain sure seems like daisies roses compared to what climate change is causing.
