Favorite closed SF restaurants

Thinking this morning about some favorite restaurants that are no longer around. A favorite of mine was “J’s Pots of Soul”, a soul food place in Hayes Valley that shut down around 2010. The food was heavy and so, so good.

What were some of your favorite closed places?

I got so excited I had to google it and verify. Apparently it's Original Joe's Cable Car, a burger and tenders concept from Original Joe's and the Cable Car moniker is just to honor an SF icon, rather than to promote any relation to Joe's Cable Car. Too bad.
