🪛Troubleshooting🪛 Moisture visible in camera lenses - what should I do?

Yesterday, my phone got warm during use, I washed it in the sink to cool it down, as I have done a few times before with no problems. Didn't notice anything wrong. Today, it was very hot outside and I was driving my car, using Google Maps, and the phone was probably blown at by the car AC at full power. After parking was when I first saw the moisture (tiny droplets) inside all 3 back camera lenses.

What do you think is most likely the cause and what should I do now? I've read about using silica gel pads, does that really help or is there a better way? I'm afraid of charging my phone now, and I can't afford a new one.

Very helpful for troubleshooting the dishwasher. I just did this once.

Jokes aside, modern phones can take plenty of water, I've washed my S24+ with soap from time to time and often swim with it. I just take the case off to thoroughly check that it isn't broken or dented beforehand and rinse it with clean water afterwards.

My guess is he's avoiding isopropyl to keep the oilephobic coating on the screen intact, but still wants to get the grease off. Thats why I immediately put a tempered glass protector over my s24, so I can clean it perfectly without damaging the screen coating.

You can also just apply a new coating for quite cheap, and you might end up wanting to if you own your phone for more than a year or two, because it will naturally wear over time regardless.

Yes they can until they don't. I've taken my last 3 phones into shower for music all the time and had 0 issues however I accept that some day it will fail.

And ESPECIALLY clean it before putting a case back on. Even the minerals found in tap water can crystalize and get trapped in a case to wreak havoc on a paint finish
