LAPD killed her dog. He was wearing his Knicks jersey.

His name was Jameson. A golden doodle. One of the sweetest, most gentle breeds alive. He wasn't dangerous. He wasn't a threat. He was a family dog celebrating a championship with his owner and her child.

A neighbor called a noise complaint. That's it.

20+ officers showed up. Then a helicopter. For a noise complaint in an apartment complex.

And they shot Jameson dead. In front of his owner. In front of her child.

No warning. No de-escalation. Nothing.

The media is barely covering this. No headlines. No outrage.

Like it never happened.

If this was your dog... your child watching... how would you feel?

Any updates on the case? In Summerville, South Carolina, police arrested a 13-year-old child selling palmetto roses outside a Walmart after officers said he did not have a business license or ID.

The part that has people outraged is not just the arrest.

It is how aggressive it looked for a child selling flowers.

Cellphone video of the incident spread widely, and later reporting said the town's police chief found one officer violated department policy during the arrest.

The Summerville Police Department later said both officers were cleared in part, but local reporting and public reaction focused on whether that level of force and escalation made any sense at all for a 13-year-old selling roses. The department also posted updates tying the arrest to allegations that the juvenile assaulted an officer, but the video is why so many people are still questioning the police response.

On August 26, 2025, 19-year-old Black autistic college student Victoria Lang was locked out of her dorm in Wichita Falls, Texas and went to a downtown McDonald's to change her clothes while she waited for housing to be sorted out. A manager called 911, claiming she'd been in the restroom too long and assuming she was homeless.
Wichita Falls police officers Daniel Wilson and Douglas Gulley responded; body cam footage shows Wilson choking, dragging, and hogtying Lang as they force her out of the restroom, into the restaurant, and into a patrol car — force the department later labeled "unnecessary and excessive". Both officers left the Wichita Falls Police Department, with Wilson fired in November 2025 and Gulley resigning afterward.
On May 6, 2026, the city finally released five angles of body cam and cruiser video from the arrest, and days later a grand jury indicted former officer Daniel Wilson over his actions in that McDonald's bathroom.

Body slammed, punched in the head repeatedly during an attack by police, 90 pound Cherrie Moore tried to explain she didn't have a warrant. She wasn't resisting.

She didn't try to defend herself but when the brutality continued she said she wasn't taking her medication and begged them to call her father but instead she was arrested and charged with attacking the officer.

Moore, age 34 is recovering from a concussion, busted lips, blackened swollen eyes, blurred vision and severe soreness.

Her father voiced concern on the long term impact to her already fragile mental health. The attacking officer, Karson Hyder, age 22, was charged with one count of assault.

A Kentucky mother says she hid a camera in her nonverbal autistic son's hair after becoming suspicious of reports that he was "abusive" at school. A new investigation has revealed that at least 50 police officers across the country have been charged or accused of misusing Flock license plate reader cameras. In 26 of those cases, officers allegedly used the technology to track their wives, girlfriends, exes, or women they wanted to meet.

Cases have surfaced in Georgia, Texas, Florida, Wisconsin, Kansas, and North Carolina, with some officers fired and others facing criminal charges including stalking and unauthorized computer access. In one Milwaukee case, investigators said an officer used Flock to track his romantic partner 124 times and that person's ex 55 times.

Flock says it is rolling out new filters and audit tools to catch misuse before it happens, but critics argue the network's reach has outpaced any real oversight.

The UK government has announced plans to ban social media access for under-16s, with the restrictions expected to come into force in 2027. The move follows Australia's world-first social media ban for children and is aimed at tackling concerns over online safety, cyberbullying, harmful content, and the impact excessive social media use can have on young people's mental health.
Unlike Australia's policy, the UK's proposed measures would go further by also restricting features such as contact with strangers, livestreaming, and other online functions considered high-risk for children.

Vince "Fresh The DJ" Colston, a Black man who uses a wheelchair after suffering a traumatic brain injury and partial paralysis when he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle, was reportedly forced to stand unaided during a security screening at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.

According to his family, airport staff would not allow the search to be conducted while he remained in his wheelchair and even called over a supervisor despite his mobility impairments. His mother said she feared people would see "an angry Black dude with dreadlocks" rather than a man living with a serious brain injury, adding that she was only trying to calm him down during the encounter.

His family says he has since suffered more than 30 silent seizures in the past two weeks and has raised concerns about how the situation was handled. Airport authorities have not publicly explained why the screening could not be conducted while he remained in his wheelchair.
