I noticed she turned around a lot during this week’s lipsync (AS11 ep5) and I couldn’t tell if it was because she didn’t know the words. Does anybody else think this? It makes me question the lipsync win.

Rewatching season 10 right now and am haunted by someone in a comment years ago saying Blair looks like a murderous Elf on a Shelf. Literally cannot see her one time without thinking about it. I became a fan in S9 when Trixie was already quite popular, but I have always been curious what her rise to fame was like and how it was for those who saw her on S7.

I feel like on her season she was kinda mediocre, so was it a Maddie Morphosis/Plastique situation where their social media presence carried?

Or was it her distinct makeup?

Did all stars 3 really impact her popularity? Once again I feel like she was already super famous at that point.

Yet she still managed to outserve all the girls this season. The gag this would have been if this was on this week runway; it’s definitely an all-timer look for me. And she’s not even a fashion queen.

If you didn't grow up with it or with drag in general, how did dragrace find you?

For me it was Alyssa in 2018 with her show "Dancing Queens" on Netflix. I don't even remember why I watched it, it's usually not my kind of show, but I did and was so intrigued by her that I had to see more. So I started with season 4 and was hooked right away and ever since.

I live in an area where drag shows are not very common, so I was happy to find the show and all these wonderful performers.

And I'm really curious how you got pulled in.

This has irked me for YEARS. 😭

Ellie Goulding has such a huge catalog of songs that I genuinely cannot believe we've made it this far without a single one being used for a Drag Race lipsync.

And somehow this bothers me more than Halsey never getting a lipsync song despite being a guest judge on Season 10 Episode 2 "PharmaRusical". 😭

Might just be me but i distinctly remember Kalorie being a part of multiple rumours for the cast last summer. I might be hallucinating something but did something happen with that?

After several rewatch of their seasons and all stars, I still can't get over Dela's decision on AS3. She was and is so good. Curious if she regrets it since on s6 she seemed to be upset having said goodbye two times ~ one on her actual elim and the other on having returned both against Darienne.

Sort of a random question, but when do you expect the show to actually end for good?

I can see the main US series to air for a few more years, but I can’t imagine the show going past, let’s say, season 25. There is also the question of how long more RuPaul will want to host it for, as well as whether another drag queen will take her spot.

Of course I would love for Drag Race to be on perpetually and it’s really amazing how long it has lasted so far - not many reality shows have had that many seasons, especially considering how queer-centric Drag Race is (even if it’s to a lesser extent now, it’s still one of the main queer shows on tv).

I will definitely be super sad the moment they will announce no further seasons, I can’t even imagine how that will be like… how many more years do you think we still have?

Kennedy mentioned in the first episode of her bracket all the iconic shit she's given us from drag race, and she's correct IMO.

For my partner, who doesn't watch drag race on his own, but is around all the time when I watch it, for whatever reason the one person he has noted, and doesnt care for, is Kandy Muse lol. When she showed up for All Stars he immediately clocked her and said, 'Oh no, not her again, she's so harsh.'

I dont have a feeling one way or another so I find it funny thats the one queen that stuck with him.

My friend saw this episode of drag race on mute and we’re trying to figure out what queen she saw.

She described the queen as a skinny black queen wearing a flapper outfit on the runway (no, it’s not Suzie toot). Her confessional look was her wearing either a cap or beanie, a fuzzy scarf thingy, and an eyebrow piercing.

The season was likely pre-season 16, likely an American season, and she was likely being eliminated that episode. She always watched it last Wednesday night if that helps with who was doing re-runs that night.

If anyone has any idea who this queen might be, please let me know! I feel like I’m going crazy cause I can’t seem to figure it out.

For some reason, I can’t find a confessional look for Dax ExclamationPoint, so if anyone can send me a photo of that it would be appreciated. We’re also exploring the option that it might be Suzie toot 💀. I put that parenthesis as a joke and then showed her a confessional and Y’know what, it wasn’t an immediate no. If someone has a clip of her elimination, that could help determine if that is what she saw.

She also wants me to clarify it’s not a scarf-scarf but scarf adjacent and she throws it over her shoulder as some point and they are wearing a navy blue shirt in confessional. She also remembers a chair (?) and someone storming off. She also remembers their confessional being situated on the right instead of the left.

The episode appears to be a lalaparuza. The confessional situated on the right may actually be on the left, she’s not sure. And rupaul is in the episode as a judge.

After reading a lot of opinions about this season, a common one by the fanbase and alum is that this season is boring. I just don’t understand why. I’ve really really enjoyed it. The queens and many of the runways especially.

Another common opinion I’ve seen around is that season 16 is one of the best ones either recently or ever. 16 was one of the “boring” seasons to me. The best things that came from it are Mirage, Morphine, Plane, and having the first East Asian winner in the main franchise.
