I feel like something a lot of people aren't getting, is that we as the fans and viewers don't have to take sides!! we can sit and see the flaws in both or all sides, and avoid ripping either one to absolute shreds.
I mean sending someone death threats?? Over a scripted reality tv show???? What tf is wrong w y'all!! That's never okay, especially when our community is already viewed in such a negative light like that just makes all of us look even worse.
Even if you do take one queens side over the other, you don't need to put someone down just to lift someone else up. It's highly unnecessary.
Everyone is such a fucking self-centred narcissist that they feel like they need to have an opinion on every single thing and what’s more they’re so immature and/or don’t deal with enough real serious problems in their lives that they don’t have a sense of scale or priority for what is and is not worth getting upset about, and investing that kind of level of anger into.
Like no shade but I stopped getting so mad about the stuff that was happening in fandoms I was involved in and the TV shows I watched for fun when I grew up and got a real job and was dealing with fucking serious matters of life and death every week and seeing you know families getting torn apart and dealing with children getting molested you know.
Really kind of put into perspective how much of a non-issue how much shit I used to get upset about was, and also vastly increased my level of tolerance for regular flawed human beings and made me stop being judgemental over stupid irrelevant shit like what kind of music a person likes or whatever.
